Are you ready for Easter? It's the beginning of spring and there are masses of cool things to do in Brighton and Hove this week. We've hooked out ten of the best for our readers and members... enjoy! 

Easter Friday - 29th March

 

  • Krater Comedy Club - Get your laughing gear around this one! Eat, drink and be merry as 3 top stand-ups and one of the best MCs on the comedy circuit take the stage. Check the Komedia website for times and prices

 

Easter Saturday - 30th March

 

  • Alive & Swinging with Marilyn Monroe – Join top class sound-alike superstars Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Amy Winehouse at 8pm at Old Market: only £15 for a sophisticated  musical treat 
  • Art Junky – Love arts and crafts? You’ll adore this indoor arts, crafts and vintage market, more than 50 stalls packed with glorious goodies, all unique and affordable, including arty items, fashion, jewellery, homewares and lovely bric-a-brac.11am-5pm at the Phoenix Gallery opposite St Peter’s church, £1 entry 
  • Brighton Photowalk – Make the most of your camera and see the city from a fresh angle with the award-winning photographer Skylar Johnson. Take the City PhotoWalk Tour between 2pm-5pm until Easter Monday, £40 per person, meet up at the West Pier in gopod time for 2pm.   
  • Ooh La La! Proud Cabaret Brighton goes all French and glamorous on Saturday nights at Le Chat Noir from 7pm onwards, £44 Per Person at the gorgeous Proud Cabaret Ballroom 

 

Easter Sunday - 31st March

 

  • Brighton Curious Market – Love the strange, weird and wonderful side of life? Head for the Curious Market, where the best alternative traders are showcasing their fantastic wares as well as providing alternative healing and spiritual insight. 12 noon at The Latest Music Bar, £5 each.   • British Engineerium Steam  - An unforgettable experience for anyone who loves the grandeur of the Victorian age and really BIG machines, the British Engineerium opens on the last Sunday of every month at 11am. It’s £5 for grown-ups, £3 for Children, £10 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children and free for little ones in pushchairs 

 

Easter Monday - 1st April

 

  • Abigail's Party – Catch one of the funniest productions on stage, here in town after a triumphant West End run. It’s Abigail’s Party and you’ll find it at the Theatre Royal until Saturday. The evening show starts at 7.45pm and there are matinees on Thursday and Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets cost between £10 and £29.50 
  • DigiTune Presents... A popular music event connecting acoustic music with a passionate audience, packed with amazing tunes and a must for anyone who loves real sounds from real instruments. It kicks off at 8pm at The Latest music bar, £4/£3
