With Summer temperatures finally here, there is no excuse to get out and about this week in your finery.

Here are some of the choice events we have identified for you to make hay with while the sun shines over the next 7 days...

 

Friday 7th June

  • Fosters Comedy Club - Eat, drink, watch and laugh as 3 top stand-ups and one of the best MCs on the comedy circuit entertain you, See www.komedia.co.uk/krater for times, £6 - £31 – Komedia

Saturday 8th June

  • Theatre Royal Backstage Tours - Every Saturday, the tour is full of intriguing insights into the history and present day workings of Theatre Royal Brighton, 11:30am, £6 – Theatre Royal

  • Our Time in Ice - After an award-winning flagship exhibition, Ghosts of Gone Birds, the ONCA gallery presents its second collaborative project, Our Time in Ice, Wed to Fri 12 – 7pm / Sat & Sun 11 – 6pm, Free Entry – Until 31st June - Onca Gallery

  • An Exhibition of Artist’ Books - Press & Release celebrates the rich and multi-faceted world of artists’ books and self-publishing, with a focus on hand-made and limited edition books, and experimental formats – Until 9th June - Phoenix Gallery

  • Kreepy Kemptown Ghost Walks – Brighton’s longest paranormal tour. Nearly 2 hours of true tales to chill your spine! Every Saturday at 7:30pm. http://kreepykemptownghostwalks.webs.com/. Adults £8, children £4, conc. £5

  • Faculty of Arts Graduate Show 2013 - After intensive creative and critical study, over 500 final year students will show their work at the annual University of Brighton Faculty of Arts Graduate Show this Summer.  Until 12th June – Free

  • Flying in the Moment - Using techniques of clown, theatre, improvisation and resonance this workshop is led by Chris Cresswell who has 25 years experience facilitating and inspiring people from all walks of life, 10am, £20 – Emporium Theatre

  • Makers Boutique - Providing a wonderful opportunity for shoppers to view latest collections & creative ideas, meet the Maker and become inspired, 11am, free – Brighton Unitarian Church

  • Concours D’Elegance - Motor vehicle display – Stanmer Park

  • Chattri Memorial Service - A half an hour memorial service will be held at the Chattri in Patcham n, for ALL Indian soldiers who died while in hospitals in Brighton & Hove during (1914- 1918), 2:30pm

  • Art Deco Fair - 1920's - 1970's stalls and furniture, 10am, £3 – Hove Centre

  • Brighton Calling - With Stark, The Folk, Nick Williams, Chylde Owler, Connor Bannister, 6pm, £5 – Latest Music Bar

  • Jeff Koons - Brighton Exhibition of work by Jeff Koons, widely regarded as one of the world’s most important living artists – Until 8th Sept - Brighton Museum & Art Gallery

  • Regency Colour - Regency Colour and Beyond, 1785-1835, is on show from 15 June to 13 October 2013 and includes two display areas and new interpretation exploring Regency understandings of colour and the interior decor of the Royal Pavilion - Royal Pavilion

 

Monday 10th June

  • Kasper’s Puppet Theatre - Using original hand carved Hohnsteiner puppets and translating popular stories presented for today’s young audience, 11am & 2pm, £5.99 Until 31st June – Brighton Marina

  • Dave McPherson (In Me) solo show - Brentford's son Dave McPherson is most likely known for his work as lead singer and principal songwriter with award winning British rockers In Me but he has also carved out some success as a solo artist in his own right, 8pm, £8 – The Prince Albert

 

Tuesday 11th June
