Sunday 14th July

  • Brighton Sand Sculpture Festival - From April 8th 2013, a new Sand Sculpture Festival will be held at Black Rock Brighton. Visitors can experience the wonder of this magical art and will also have the chance to get involved, £6 adults, £5 conc. £4 children, £15 family tickets – Black Rock

  • 2020 Vision Exhibition on Brighton Seafront - 2020 Vision is a nationwide nature photography project aiming to make the case for reconnecting fragmented habitats and show that healthy habits are essential for wildlife and people. Until 29th Jul

  • Opera by the Sea - English Studio Opera perform popular arias and duos from well-known operas including Carmen, La Boheme, Marriage of Figaro and Tosca. 2.30pm, Free Admission – Rottingdean Terraces Stage

  • Pelican - Pelican is a post-metal quartet from Chicago, Illinois. Established in 2000, the band stems from their native post-metal scene and is known for their atmospheric and entirely instrumental style, 7:30pm, £12.50 – The Haunt


Tuesday 16th July

  • Paddy Lennox - Paddy takes us on an hour of mischievous storytelling, 7pm, £5 – Komedia

  • Rocks & Sands - Early Years sessions include art activities, a museum expedition, a story and handling some museum objects. These sessions are for 2-5 year olds only. 10.30am-12pm. Tickets are £4.50, members £3.50, book in advance.

Wednesday 17th July
