Love is in the air as Valentine's Day approaches and thebestof Brighton and Hove are really getting into the mood of love with the launch of their 14 DAYS OF LOVE 2012 Campaign on the 1st February.
What is 14 Days of Love?
The campaign was run for the first time two years ago and was hugely successful both nationally and for many local businesses. 14 Days of Love encourages local people across the Brighton and Hove area to ‘show some love’ by writing testimonials in support of local businesses.
"Small businesses are the unsung heroes of our community and we really want local people to make their day and tell them how much their service means," explained Helen Penny owner of thebestof "Running a business on this island can be expensive and with the current economic climate we have witnessed the loss of some good companies locally. If we all want to continue enjoying these services on our doorstep we need to show our support."
Some of thebestof Brighton and Hove businesses members who took part in the campaigns in the last 2 years have done exceptionally well in gaining many accolades from their loyal and appreciative customers.
Chiropractic Life of Church Road, Hove not only came tops as the “most loved business in Brighton and Hove” last year, they were also the most loved across the UK in the Chiropractor category. Bikram Yoga Brighton were in the top UK 100 in their category of Yoga businesses.
This year with a bigger and better campaign we are hoping for even more involvement from our Member businesses and their customers in picking up these accolades.
Look out for the various posters and activities in the City in many shopfronts as well as in the local press and at venues like the G Casino and Odeon cinema...
