Rock the House Hove & Portslade Battle of the Bands – Audio, Brighton – March 30th 6:30pm
Mike Weatherley MP is proud to announce a live Battle of the Bands to select his over 18s band nomination for Rock the House, the national live music competition which he founded.
The competition as a whole is open to solo artists and bands of any age.
The battle of the bands for the over 18s bands will be held at Audio on the 30th March 6:30 till10:00.
The special guest judging panel will include:
They will determine the winning band on the night between Preserver, Sin To Survive, For What It’s Worth and Bleak Falls.
The winning band will receive prizes on the night from Orange Amps, Yamaha, Hobgoblin and Heineken and will also go forward to compete in the next stage of the national competition which will be judged by a panel of international music industry experts and musicians.
The finalists will take part in a battle of the bands in London to determine the winner and the winner in each category will perform live at a final competition reception on the Terrace at the House of Commons in the evening.

The competition counts a host of Rock Stars as its Patrons, including Alice Cooper, Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus, the Bee Gees Robin Gibb, Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan, Fightstar’s Charlie Simpson, Anthrax’s Rob Caggiano, Yes’ Rick Wakeman, Gallows’ Laurent Barnard and Don Broco’s Rob Damiani.
