Star Wars toy display

13 February half-term to 17 May (*FREE*), Hove Museum

Hove Museum is now displaying rare Star Wars items loaned from private collections, including very early figures and ‘dioramas’ (displays) from the first series of Star Wars movies released by toy company Kenner in the 1970s. The new display has been loaned by two of the museum’s staff and includes unusual items, in particular figures, from the second Star Wars trilogy, which demonstrate how merchandising developed between the two film series.  The display also brings things right up to date with a recent Disney Star Wars/Cars crossover range and has been designed to appeal to all, from vintage collectors to those new to the world of Star Wars.
