23rd December 2011

Elliott Raggio, director of local business On Tap Group was recently interviewed by the Argus Newspaper following the online e-petition he set up to fight against the proposed increases parking in our city.

He said

"This will have a negative impact to traders permits, business permits, residential permits and local pay and display meter prices if the hike the Green Party propose goes ahead in 2012.

Local businesses and the local community will be affected as the price of parking will drive people away from Brighton and Hove.

Prices are more than doubling for traders permits, £350 current price increasing to £750 per vehicle a year

Business permits £175 increasing to £400 per vehicle a year

Centre of Brighton pay and display charges going up by as much as 170%

Yet the greens have employed a “spin doctor” for 40k a year in their press office!!"
