Saturday 7th see's the launch of i leave my mark at the Fringe Festival.

i leave my mark invites the people of Brighton and Hove to be part of creating one of the world's largest collections of fingerprints from one of Hove's colorful beach huts.

It's easy to take part - simply donate £1 and leave your mark to give the thumbs up to local charities.

Jimmy the Juggling Jester will be setting the scene at 12.00 and the Mayor and Mayoress of Brighton will be leaving their marks at 2.00pm.

The event will run over four weekends in May, from 11-5, from a beach hut opposite First Avenue in Hove.  There will be children's activities on the beach and a chance to win some 'fringetastic' prizes donated by local businesses.

The collection of fingerprints will be displayed for the first time at The Basement, Kennsington Street, Brighton on 29th May 12-5pm.

The Best of Brighton & Hove's Jon Silver is professional photographer and Simon Ross from Hove MOT's is sponsoring i leave my mark in the London to Brighton Mini Run.  The gorgeous blue stretch mini will arrive on Hove seafront opposite the beach hut, at 2pm on Sunday 15th May.
