Brighton Museum shortlisted to host world famous artist Spencer Tunick

The Royal Pavilion & Museums have been short-listed in a nationwide competition to get top contemporary artists working with museums.

Culture 24 and Museums at Night have shortlisted Brighton Museum to potentially host world famous New York photographer Spencer Tunick in 2014.

Tunick has travelled the globe to create still and video images of multiple nude figures in public settings.

For this event, he would photograph individual portraits of around 200 nude residents of Brighton & Hove gathered in a city centre location on Saturday 17 May 2014, followed by a special celebration and presentation of the portraits to all participants in Brighton Museum.

Brighton Museum is now through to the public voting stage and we need your help to Bring Spencer Tunick to Brighton!

The voting opens at 11am on Tuesday 14 January and you can vote on-line by following this link:

or by using one of the special voting cards available at all the museums in the city.
