Stayed the night with breakfast and dinner included in the price we paid see groupon. The relaxation area was very good especially the hydropool. Thought the beer a little expensive at £6 a pint. The dinner menu had a limited selection.

Very good spa
As good as any in UK and we have been to a lot of hotels
Pleasant rooms though bathroom a bit dated and not many toiletries
Service friendly and efficient. Though slow service in restaurant at dinner.
The complex that is the village makes for a lovely environment

Booked a night stay to relax and unwind but left feeling abit deflated. No one on check in desk, waited to be seen. We had already checked in online but not sure what difference that made. We were not informed about adding credit to the room to enable us to have a bar tab for the night. The room was basic but appeared relatively clean. No hotel information in the rooms or room service menu. Rang room service at 23:00 twice and reception twice but no answer on either line. I went down to reception to order a hot drink and snacks, no one on reception at all, so I went to the hotel bar and got the drinks but no biscuits, crisps, only a small packet of nuts. I went back to the room, hungry and disappointed. We had massages booked at the spa the following morning, the therapists and treatments were pleasant. The staff member on spa reception greeted us with a warm welcome and friendly smile, the best of the weekend. However, the ambience was very fraught and busy, not sure I'd call it a relaxation room. I felt uncomfortable being sat in my clothes awaiting a spa treatment. I expected a robe and slippers and be able to lock my belongings away not have to carry them with me. We left immediately after our treatments due to feeling uncomfortable. The spa felt very busy and overbooked. We paid for 2 massages at 30 mins each but we were finished in under that. Although we had a nice time in each others company, we won't be rushing to come back.

Arrived at the hotel quite late after a 5hour drive, nice friendly staff to greet us. Nice touch with free drink and £10 food/drink voucher. Our only issue is that we had requested disabled access and this was ignored. Placed in a room at the far end of complex

hotels are hotels but this place I must admit is like a mini break. I will certainly be booking here in the future.
- loads of parking space
- qwerty picterious village like location so just pleasant to walk around in
- amazing heated pool with open balcony view
- free gym and pool use
- massage and other spa items available
- rooms are standard

bit annoyed there was no bath in the room but bathroom was okay otherwise
- didn't taste food but seemed above normal Hilton standard

for the price I would prefer this place over any commercial place even though more expensive.

special mention of Aaron. lovely guy.

The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The kitchen staff were already great during breakfast and dinner. Amenities such as various different saunas were fantastic. The only suggestion I would make is a greater collection to choose from for the gift shop.

Firstly start with the negatives to get them out of the way. Several issues with rooms, including prices rising for our guests the week of the wedding, despite them being booked for over a year and our maid of honour going into a room which someone else was in! That could have been embarrassing!! A 6 week battle between bookings.com and last drop reservations to sort out a room booking. The brides sister told she can’t come and sit in the drop in for a coffee with the rest of the family because they haven’t paid for breakfast. There are other issues but that’s enough for here.

Now on to two other people, firstly our wedding coordinator Jacqueline. She has been absolutely amazing, through planning, to re-arranging, to re-arranging again, to dealing with all the above issues on the wedding day so we didn’t need to deal with them on our wedding day. She has really gone above and beyond. Her passion and enthusiasm to make our day the most perfect day ever is unmatched. And despite everything she made it the perfect day and cannot thank her enough. If it wasn’t for her support throughout this we would have probably cancelled the “big” day and stuck with our registry office wedding so thank you so much.

The next person was Ryan, the master of ceremonies. He couldn’t have done more for us on the day, from the tiny things that nobody would have noticed like keeping the candles lit on a memorial table, to the bigger things like making sure the room was perfect and everything in between. And the absolutely most important thing, he made sure my wife always had a glass of wine!
He did an amazing job on the day and we are both very grateful.

Thank you so much to Jacqueline and Ryan you both made our day perfect.

Nice rooms, great food and service in the restaurant, reception staff seem very stressed and dealing with a large conference making other guests check in not as the warm welcome you would expect, rooms are nice and worth the money overall 6/10

From the moment we booked our wedding with the Last Drop, the staff have been amazing. It was postponed due to covid and, even then, they were so flexible and put us immediately at ease. Nothing was too much trouble.

In the lead up to the wedding, Jacqueline was our wedding coordinator and we struck gold with her. She was so lovely and helpful - bringing our visions to life so easily! When everyone started letting us down last minute, I passed over the venue liaison to my mum as I was too stressed. After hearing I was stressed, Jacqueline called me and told me not to worry, everything was in hand and I should have a nice hot bath and glass of wine! This really cheered me up.

When the day finally came, Nasser was our master of ceremonies and he was also brilliant. I was so nervous arriving and both Jacqueline and Nasser told us exactly what to do and it went so smoothly. We had our wedding in the Penny Farthing Suite and the staff turned the room around for us in between the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Nasser came to get us to check everything was okay with the room before inviting guests in - it looked amazing!!! They got everything right, all the different favours/gifts we got for people were all exactly where they needed to be and they had done such an amazing job.

We honestly couldn't have asked for better people to organise our wedding with. After hearing horror stories from other venues charging couples extra for postponing weddings etc - the Last Drop stayed true the whole way through and I can't thank them enough.

Thank you also to Liz and Lindsey who I liaised with throughout. All staff were brilliant!

The food was also amazing and the place itself is just beautiful. My favourite place to visit - we will be coming back on our anniversary!

Fantastic spa area. The swimming pool and spa area were fantastic and we spent most of our 4 day stay in and out of there. Plenty of car parking space. Lovely reception and bar area. Our room (5) was a good size with a spacious walk in shower. Very hilly area. Village pub and most of shops closed; need to update website to show opening hours as we expected them all to be open. The TV in our room (5) in corner, would have preferred it more central.

We stayed two nights and were impressed with most aspects. The room was large and well furnished, the bed particularly comfortable.p, but the bathroom was looking rather tired. The building comprises several buildings with many rooms requiring stairs to be negotiated. Although we’re certainly not disabled, being in our mid 70s, that was not a plus.
Breakfasts and dinner were very good as was the service being quick and with friend staff.
Check in was rather tedious as we arrived at 1.30 and our room was not ready. That wasn’t really an issue except that we couldn’t do any of the check in process such as paying for our stay until the room had been “released”. So we just sat in the bar and then had to join the queue again to check in and pay and all that despite receiving emails on each of the two previous days asking us to pay in advance of arrival!

nice hotel with friendly staff, but our holiday/break was ruined by selfish guests and kids. was not happy,in fact not at all happy as we checked out a day early. was so looking forward to this break. the first few days all good, until the riff raff arrived - selfish parents who dont know how to look after their kids and themselves. we was in a nice room, but was on the corridor down to the pool and sauna. noisy families with the free glasses on wine that the hotel give on arrival (im sure some people just cant take their drink (very small glass at that) ) and kids running up and down corridor meant that we had have had enough and went to see reception to check out the next morning (day early). i get so annoyed with hotels when you have a problem like this and they say ' would you like to move to another room' NO why should we have to move when its not our problem. this hotel should start looking at wedding guests who cant behave themselves and unruly children. just money money money with weddings. they should start looking after good couples like ourselves. will not be returning

We recently got married here on 9th October 2021. Wow what can I say?! The venue speaks for itself, it’s absolutely stunning and everything I could’ve ever dreamed for my wedding. We only viewed this venue as we’d been here prior for a spa visit. We fell in love with it. I love everything rustic and vintage, and this was just the perfect setting. The staff are absolutely incredible and will go above and beyond. My guests had nothing but amazing things to say about all the staff.
I would like to say a very special thank you to Jacqueline & Liz who were our wedding planners. They are amazing at their job and was there for any questions I had over the 2 years of planning. Nothing was too much trouble and they eased all of my anxieties leading up to the day and on the day. They know exactly what they’re doing and any bride would be lucky to have them help with their wedding. Another special thank you to our master of ceremonies Nassar. What a man! He too is amazing at his job and had the answers to my questions before I even asked them. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. We will definitely be making regular visits. The rooms are beautiful and the spa and treatments are incredible. This is mine and my husbands happy place and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so so much for making a girls dream come true x

The Last Drop Village really is partly set out as a pretend village with rooms scattered over a number of different buildings. Like a normal village there are also a scattering of shops, a pub, bars etc. It was a bit of a novelty being given a map to find our room but even then we got lost and had to ask a member of staff for directions.
The room was very large with masses of space and had a table & chairs so watching TV with a bottle of wine was more pleasant than in most hotels. It was desperately in need of some refurbishment - the carpet was stained and the paintwork needs attention. The bathroom was also large but it too needed some attention but it served our needs. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well.
We were only stopping one night and had already had dinner so we can't comment on the evening meals but breakfast was fine, I really liked to sausages which were full of flavour. It was served at the table rather than a buffet service but offered a good choice.
We will be stopping again because we have an elderly relative in the area who is struggling and requires frequents visits so it will be interesting to see what other rooms are like.

Spent the day at the last drop village yesterday for my friends wedding and what a fab day it was, all the staff were so friendly, welcoming, professional and efficient, Dylan bless him for a young lad he absolutely smashed the bar job, even when it was busy and he was alone on the bar it didn't seem to faze him, go on lad! Thanks to all the staff there for making my friends wedding special and all the hard work that was put into it, a truly memorable experience for us all!

Booked for 3 nights. Extended to 4 nights on day 2. Love the tranquility and definitely the spa.
However in our stay here the pub, apart from Sunday Lunch, hasn't been open and most of the shops are closed. We came Sunday to Thursday.
