Where do I start...Had our wedding here, and from start to finish nothing was too much trouble for wedding co-ordinator Liz! Every request was met with a definate Yes! Staff ensured the day ran like clockwork. Planning during a pandemic is stressful but Liz Blackmore was with us every step of the way with reassuring words. From the day we met her we had every confidence that we could put our trust in her to ensure our big day went to plan and it couldnt have gone better. Liz is a real credit to the hotel I cant stress that enough!! If your looking for a wedding venue look no further, I can assure you, you will not be dissapointed. Very good, staff friendly, rooms very nice, chocolates a nice touch, would recommend, food very nice, clean & tidy everywhere, arrival/departure simple, ambiance very nice and welcoming, second visit to this hotel.

Even though this hotel is found in what feels like the middle of a housing estate, the hotel is all things to a wide range of guests. A resort hotel for those wanting a Spa break with a difference, to a business traveler wanting a room to lay down in to a conference and wedding facility, the Last drop has it all. My room was very nice, the shower excellent, dinner was good as was breakfast the welcoming was warm. If I’m in the area again, I would go back without a doubt.

Poor service & Bathroom had hair on the floor which wasn't very pleasant cleaning that up!!! Also was a building site right outside the pool which completely spolit the experience. Workmen looking at you as they walked literally passed the pool area!!!

Where do i start, was surprised with a wonderful relaxed spa break with my friend from my gorgeous daughter. Relax me massage with Holly was amazing, i was so relaxed i nodded off.
Then lunch in the bar, 2pm check in to our courtyard cottage room, it was so comfy. Quiet and chilled. Then off to the thermal pool for a dip and a swim in the swimming pool, there are steam rooms and a jacuzzi too. We were trully relaxed by this time, so off to our room for a nap and shower ready for our evening meal. Three courses, all delicious. Then drinks in the bar which was very busy and noisy. Off to bed and i could not sleep, people above us walking around all night and people in room next to us snoring so loudly, i thought they were moving furniturelol. Now for breakfast, was really looking forward to it as were told it was good. It came out so quickly but was cold. I asked Zoe one of the waiting on staff if they could warm it and was greeted with a grunt and a scowl, no customer service skills at all. She never once spoke, everyone else were lovely. Overall a lovely experience spoiled by someone with no manners, we will be back but will eat breakfast elsewhere

Staff very welcoming, food lovely, pool area lovely, ambiance of the whole place warm and inviting, room spacious and bed comfortable, lovely little touch with the welcome chocolates, all in all brilliant stay.

Having to struggle with luggage up a lot of stairs😱. Be aware there is NO lift. We are older so we really couldn’t cope with that.

Beautiful location and surroundings. Was perfect for my dogs. Super friendly staff and amazing food. They’ve provided a special fridge for my dogs raw food. Everything was perfect for my weekend. Will go back for sure

We had a spa package and it included afternoon tea.
When we arrived the staff were friendly and help and were so right through our visit. We got our towel and robe and then found out that they no longer do the slippers, if we had known this we would have brought appropriate foot wear.
Never the less we stowed our gear and headed for our afternoon tea. Again staff were friendly and helpful, when the food arrived I was not overly impressed but thought I'd reserve my judgement. The sandwiches and wrap had reasonable amount of filling apart from the Tuna one which looked like it had just been waved at the tuna from afar but was not close enough to get any on it... The macaroons were tiny and I always think pointless and tasteless. The tiny shot glass with what I thought was chocolate gateaux, was just a tinny bit of sponge with way to much cream, and the scones were like biscuits, in fact we sent them back to receive new ones that although were better were still chewy.
All in all my first impression was right, I was totally underwhelmed with the food, which is a shame as you should really be able to mess up an afternoon tea.
I also think that some coffee training needs to be given as I had a cappuccino with a mm of froth not foam, to be a cappuccino you should have more foam milk than steamed milk.
We went back after this to a really nice use of the spa before going to for our massage. This was spot on and just what was needed. Thank you Hollie. We went back in the spa after and had another hour in the thermal pool just relaxing.
All in all we had a great time, disappointed with the afternoon tea but it didn't spoil our first day chilling together in 9 months.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Situated in a beautiful spot. Lovely old building with lots of separate annexes. Garden beautiful and so well kept. Little row of shops which sold eclectic items. This is also a beautiful wedding venue with shops as well selling bridal goods.

Great service from staff throughout the hotel and Spa. Always done with a smile and a welcoming manner whichever part of the hotel that you were in. Well done in this day and age (August 2021) when so may organisations seem to struggle with what the concept of customer service means.

We had a lovely stay for our anniversary, we booked a meal, bed and breakfast package, highly recommended. Will visit again and we look forward to exploring more of the area on our next visit.
