Had a really good stay only issue was argument breaking out in spa area there are clear signs saying NO phones yet lots of people had phones and management apparently turn a blind eye to this the leisure staff say

We were attending a wedding so decided to stay over, utilising a discount for the wedding party. Room was clean and modern, but not very big, okay for sleeping in. Didn't get chance to try the spa. Food and drinks were pricey, but we expected that. Staff were friendly. Would stay again.

The spa itself is fantastic although the cleanliness of the room we stayed in let it down. Cobs webs, dirty shower. Also the spa states until 10pm we got turned away at 9.10 pm so be aware of that when booking. Food is good and staff are nice though

I had my wedding at this venue (4th attempt). The staff were AMAZING! every time my day was cancelled (covid) they just transferred everything over to my new date with no issues. The day ran so smoothly. Liz was amazing all the way through and we felt so comfortable leaving everything in her hands. On the day Jackie and Stuart were faultless - they did everything for us to perfection. The food was brilliant for the wedding breakfast and the buffet in the evening went down a treat with the guests! Cant wait to come back and stay again - highly recommend for wedding venue!

Me and my girlfriend attended this hotel after being told about it by family. The hotel is in a beautiful location but unfortunately, the room we stayed in did not portray this. The pillows were rock hard meaning we struggled to sleep throughout our stay. Not only this, water was not provided in our hotel room. When we approached reception to ask for it, we were charged £7 for 2 bottles. The cups in our room were never changed and when we asked for them to sort this problem, the cups were wiped over poorly and we were unsure what they used to clean them as they never left our hotel room. We complained about this at least once a day but the problem was never resolved. Throughout our stay, our room was never hovered nor our bed was ever changed. Majority of the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. However, there was a couple of members of staff who was extremely rude and made us feel quite uncomfortable. One lady rolled her eyes at us and kept interrupting us when we were trying to order breakfast. As we were leaving, we checked out but the member of staff did not bother to ask about our experience at the hotel. For the price we paid, we were extremely disappointed.

Superb Excellent breakfasts and evening meals on two evenings. All staff really friendly and efficient. Cosy and comfortable room. Low level base beat from disco at Wedding reception on Saturday night but only until about 10.30. To be expected as a large hotel complex that caters for Weddings, etc. To be fair Wedding group were in rooms in one area and we had no other disturbance. We are early to bed early to rise people.

Lovely spa! The spa was the best part of our trip, the food in the bar was okay for the price and they staff were very accommodating. its a shame that the lovely fields you would overlook from the infinity pool is now a housing estate! the breakfast wasn’t the best and the shower needs a good bleach due to mould.

Lovely location, great views down over the hills. Great pool.
Seems expensive for the room. Paid a lot more for the room here than the premier Inn we stayed at and had pretty much exactly the same room.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Younger staff could do with some training.
Lovely wedding venue. Very interesting buildings, could do with dotting the i's and crossing the t's to keep it up to standard for the price.

On approach to the main building you know immediately you're arriving to accommodation that's got a touch of class and elegance to it. Receptionists we're friendly and quick to get me checked in.
Finding my way to my room was easy and on the way there I passed through some immaculate gardens with lovely seating areas.
Once inside my room my first thought was just how spacious it was. With a large bed and comfortable mattress and pillows, my only real grumble was the bed frame was beyond creaky, there's no air con (fine in October, could be an issue in summer), and the OCD in me was being driven insane by the wonkily installed wall mounted TV. Besides that, I had a supremely comfortable sleep and my morning routine got off to a great start thanks to heated flooring in the bathroom as well as a heated towel rack.
Breakfast was not a great experience, but not terrible. I was seated within a couple of minutes at most but it was clear the staff and kitchen were run off their feet a little as I was still waiting on even just a tea or coffee after around 10min. It was maybe another 10-15min before any food arrived and the poached egg that I ordered was harder than The Rock's biceps with the yolk crumbling away into dust. Completely inedible, and I saw other tables having issues with their eggs too. I'm just glad Gordon Ramsay didn't witness the horror. The rest of the food was tasty enough though, to be fair.

The room was pretty expensive - for the two nights - and breakfast was not included. The room was not cleaned properly when we came back from breakfast - and we mistakenly left a couple of things behind which were not found by housekeeping - which was strange ..

I thought the room was good enough, but it was the spa and pool that was really worth the visit. Wish they could ditch the huge TV showing sports 24/7 in the bar area particularly has they have another bar with similar facilities on site.

Highly recommend the Last Drop spa and hotel. The spa experience was amazing and hotel staff friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed on a bed breakfast, evening meal and spa package which was excellent value for money.
