Nice, but I wouldn’t rush back. It was friendly and in a nice location - though there did seem to be some ongoing building work. Quite built up in the immediate surroundings too. It was very busy. Somehow, they had not received the information that one of us was disabled, and they had allocated an inappropriate room. We were just lucky they had one in an adjacent building with a lift. It was a bit tired, and the breakfast was a bit oversubscribed and unimaginative for the price.

The room did not live up to the price it was sold at, and would have expected a better experience. Room was fairly clean but several spiders and moths in the room and the walls are very thin so noise travels from the corridors and sometimes other rooms more than you would want.

Mike and his team are exceptional in providing excellent customer service. To have met you all and to have had such a personalised stay was lovely. You helped to create a lovely memory for my friend's birthday and I can't thank you enough.

A beautiful facility with the most friendly and well turned out staff. Food and drink was plenty and very, very tasteful. Plenty of bar and restaurants and places to sit and lounge. Franco Capollo was an excellent Restaurant Manger and his team worked well with him. Special shout out also for Leeanne, Massage Therapist, I could have stayed there all day! We will be back

Enjoyable relaxing stay and was what we went for although i still think there is room for improvements and rooms could be ready for a modern or new look and major overhaul
could be more tea and coffee left in the rooms or readily available

We arrived after a very long journey due to horrendous traffic and found the reception staff very warm and welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean but the only critcism is the carpet could do with replacing and let the room down. Having said that, we found all the staff helpful, friendly and pleasant. Nothing was too much. We spent the whole weekend and due to the bad weather ate all our meals on site. There is a variety of eating areas to suit all tastes, eg bar restaurant, the main restaurant and on the complex a child friendly Inn also. All our meals were 10/10 and the Franco Cappolo, Restaurant Manager and his staff members were efficient and very professional. Hats off to the chef for my Saturday evening meal. I chose the Tuna reluctantly as my previous experiences have found this fish to be very dry. It was the most tender, succulent tuna I have ever tasted!
The pool and spa were great with an infinity pool. My massage by Leeanne left me wanting to stay for an all day session.
We would most definitely, without a doubt visit again with our friends. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Had a long weekend DBB with access to the spa. Smooth check in, receptionist was very attentive and helpful. Had a standard room which was modern and clean and well above average standard. Used the restaurant both evenings for the 2 courses, on both occasions the food was excellent and once again of a higher standard than might have been expected. The dining room whilst dated has character and has good space between the tables. The most impressive part was the excellent service given by the young staff, it is more than obvious that the management take time and effort to show them the correct way to do their job, this results in a great experience for the customers. They are a credit to the business and more importantly a credit to themselves. If they apply this attitude as they progress through life they won’t go far wrong! Finally the spa, the gym is modern and well equipped, the pools were warm and all the various steam rooms were working and provided a great experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel humbled that all the staff strived to make such efforts. It’s now not a question of if we return, it’s just a question of when.

My husband and I had our wedding there two weeks ago, and this is our experience.

The Last Drop was the one and only venue that we viewed, as we were so impressed with it. The first thing that stood out to me was the sheer volume of ‘thank you’ cards on the shelves in the wedding shop, a telltale sign of many fantastic weddings. As it was a cold, November evening, we didn’t see the place in daylight until we came for our wedding menu tasting in January and as soon as we saw it in daylight hours, we fell in love with it again.

The venue is beautiful but it doesn’t matter how nice a venue is if the staff aren’t the right fit, and it is the venue staff that propel The Last Drop to the next level. Everyone seems to take a great deal of personal pride in the service they deliver and that is rare and special, and should never be taken for granted.

On our wedding day, every single member of staff had a smile on their face and not one of those smiles were painted on. They were genuinely pleased to be such an integral part of our special day and it almost felt like they were invited guests. Mia, for example, was excited for us. It was written all over her face. She is a lovely young lady who has a great career ahead of her in this industry.

Our meal was beautiful. I didn’t meet him, but I am told that it was cooked by Stephan. A number of guests have asked for your recipe for lemon sorbet!

I would like to thank Naz for running the day. He was friendly and approachable and ensured the whole day ran smoothly, leaving us with nothing to worry about.

My dog, Hugo, would like to thank Franco for the sausages (on all of our visits!) He is a very pleasant fellow and runs the restaurant impeccably.

Finally, we ultimately owe our fantastic experience to Liz, the wedding planner. She is one of the best people I have ever met. She is funny, professional, kind and caring. Even on her days off, she would reply to my many emails of countless questions and her dedication to ensuring we had the perfect day that we had envisaged was immeasurable. Put simply, we would not have had the experience we had without her and I would like to think that, not only have I gained a husband, but I have also gained a friend.

Every single one of our guests had the perfect day. We had reunions of family members and friends that had not seen each other for many years and every one of them were very complimentary about the venue and especially the staff.

I cannot recommend The Last Drop enough, especially for a wedding. What better a place could you hope for on your special day than a place which is powered by love.

Just a one night stay; didn’t use the spa but it seemed popular. We used to live close to the area so it was a great place to kick off our trip back to the UK. Nice walks close by and evening meal was great

We stayed 2 nights as son was graduating from Boton uni. The room was clean and fine, the curtain track was broken so we couldn't close the curtains properly. Would have been nice to have had a few more teabags but I imagine we could have asked for more if wanted to. Evening meals both nights were very nice.

Overall good stay, lovely hotel friendly staff & nice food We were a family group of 12 celebrating a birthday all had room /Breakfast & evening meal half of us booked the pool/Spa, liked that the Hotel is Dog friendly too. Staff were all friendly/Helpful & Reception very efficient. We were moved from 2 different seating areas throughout the day/Evening as we were advised the area had been pre-booked or reserved, even though there were no notices of this when we 1st sat down (in the lounge area for Eg during the afternoon) Even though we were eating Lunch at the time, we were told that we would need to vacate in approx one hour as it was reserved from that time. Then in the evening inside the on-site pub ? we had all just got a drinks & sat in an area suitable for us to be seated all together, only to be told 15 minuets later that we would have to move to the other side of the Pub as the area we were in was reserved. I understand that this happens, but it would be more user friendly if when an area is reserved, you could put up a notice advising of this, rather than allowing people to get comfortable & then move them. Did not spoil our stay which was lovely, just a little annoyed that it happened twice in one day.

What a brilliant deal with lots of offer in a great setting. We were looking for a cheap option for a spa stay, this was ideal. We were given access to the spa area, the thermal pool was gorgeous and being in the open air but heated pool was fab. We enjoyed the various sauna/steam rooms and then a swim. We also received a two course evening meal which was absolutely gorgeous and a wide range to choose from, we were treated to a welcome glass of wine also great, and a ten pound voucher which we used towards an extra wine! Breakfast was also great again a wide choice and served to the table. Our room was spacious and bed really comfortable. We were at the back in cottage room opposite the pub. It was a little noisy and tired decor could do with a freshen up, but for the deal and price we were happy.
We enjoyed a lovely walk on one of the routes around the golf course and we just loved the quaint feel of the whole place.
Will definitely return...for 145 pounds for two people it felt like an amazing deal with so much included and the staff were INCREDIBLE...thanks so much!! Highly recommend a stay here
