First time back since we got married here in 2004. Wow it really has gone downhill. Room resembled a Premier Inn and carpet was badly stained. Spa facilities were great but guests need a reminder that despite clear signage, mobile phones are not allowed. Evening meal was a disappointment with some dishes unavailable. The restaurant staff although plenty of them, most seem to wander around avoiding eye contact, we waited 20 minutes to order dessert and gave up in the end. Nobody asked us how our meal was at all or if we wanted drinks. The bar area was a disgrace and piled high with dirty glasses. Plenty staff so not sure why. Breakfast was good however needs a rethink. 2 staff rushed off their feet serving juice, cereal and pastries whilst also trying to cook toast. Why not cook the toast in the kitchen and bring it out with the tea and coffee. Disappointed that the lovely scenery has been part hidden by newly built houses. I would not be choosing this hotel if I were to be getting married in 2021 as it was sadly not the place it used to be at all.

Everything lovely. Staff very helpful. Room big but the carpet needs an upgrade. Too old. Have purchased luxury pamper pack but unfortunately there were no slippers in the room only bathrobe and shower creams.

We should have been informed that the spa treatments were booked up for 4 weeks, before confirming our booking. My daughter was so looking forward to our stay, as the whole purpose of the trip was to be pampered.

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights everything was great staff we friendly food was great room was slightly dated in decor but still nice quite spacious the spa and thermal suit were great can't knock the place great value for money 9/10 for me the only reason why it's not 10/10 is because the restaurant staff don't get to keep the tips that are left on card (cash could be different iam not 100% sure I didn't ask) and the only reason I know they don't get the tips is because I asked before hand and I just feel that the staff should tell the customer before they leave a tip on card that they won't receive it I don't blame the member of staff for not saying as they were probably told not to say anything by there manager/boss but all round great stay we will definitely go again

Stayed at last drop with my husband for our wedding anniversary, we had a fabulous start on an overnight spa package. The hotel was wonderful, staff were great, spa was amazing, we both had a relaxing massage which was bliss, the pool and steam rooms were great. We had dinner and breakfast as part of our stay, the food was great, we would definitely stay again

Our daughter treated to us to a stay with her a couple of months ago at the end of May . We had such a great time , with visits to the Spa and restaurants , each of which were & are superb.
We booked straight away for another two night break to celebrate my wife's birthday !
This place is a little gem and has now become our favourite place to stay , The facilities & staff are second to none , Gerry`s and his staffs hard work is definitely paying dividends ! We will be back again before Christmas with the rest of our family and friends , Well done to everyone at The last Drop Village , you have made this a first class destination.

Myself and my sister came to the Last drop village for a spa and afternoon tea which was a Christmas present from my daughter. We really enjoyed the spa and the staff were lovely but I would like to give a special mention to Isabel who served our afternoon tea. Isabel was an absolute star who couldn’t do enough for us. She was absolutely lovely and it was a joy having her serve us, she was even great with my sister’s cheeky sense of humour. We would definitely go back.

A family of three we booked an Executive family room which was a great size. We were given robes, which were amazing as the two children spent every spare moment in the pool. The pool area was immaculately clean and staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar serve a variety of food choices, which even my picky child enjoyed. From check in to check out the staff were attentive and helpful. We will return and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Wedding Party Well appointed rooms in an ideal location. Check-in procedure seems cumbersome. The fact that we had booked several rooms seemed to 'throw' the online checking-in website & the check-in desk seemed to have problems. Also, having checked-out in plenty of time on the day of departure, I was amazed to receive an invitation to check out of one of our rooms online. Although a matter taste, I thought the selection of beers available in the Courtyard restaurant was poor.

We had a brilliant stay at the Last Drop Village, the outdoor Thermal spa was lovely. Particularly when the sun was shining! Food in the restaurant was a little pricey so would advise using a package deal where it is included, as we did. Otherwise food was great and the room was clean and tidy. Lovely toiletries too!
The gym was really good. Lots of space and equipment. Would definitely recommend this hotel! We’ll be back !

We didn’t get to use the spa as we were running around for a friend’s wedding; however, the hotel was beautiful, clean and staffed by some really helpful and friendly people! We will be returning soon

Would highly recommend and will be booking some rooms when we get married next May. We did the key worker offer as I am a teacher and my fiancé a nurse and it was just what we needed! The spa is fantastic and food lovely. It’s a tranquil little gem with gorgeous views and the staff are amazing!

We stayed as a couple for one night and it was a lovely night away.
We used the spa and had a express facial. The spa is lovely and clean and staff are good. The facial treatment was excellent one of the best facials I have had my therapist (I think her name was holly) was knowledgeable and very good.
Check in was easy and the room (cottage room we had) was spacious and spotless. Really comfortable and nice. There is a couple of shops on the cobbled road all nice to have a look in.
The bar area is nice for drinks and we booked the courtyard restaurant for evening meal and breakfast.
The evening meal again was very nice - we had steak as the main and was lovely with no fat. Breakfast was one of the better breakfasts I have had in a hotel. Nice sausage and bacon and the poached eggs also good.
I really can’t fault the place for a one night stay.
Excellent staff , clean room and grounds and good food and excellent spa. It might not be cheap to stay here but we found it worth the money.

Another lovely stay at this hotel. Our daughter and son in law booked this for us because they know we love the spa at this hotel. I got home and booked another visit between Christmas and new year. We had Prosecco fruit chocolates and water in our room. When we checked in we got vouchers for 2 glasses of wine and £10 to spend on food or drinks. Really love this place and the staff are so friendly.

Just average. Nothing fancy. We’ve stayed at a lot of spa hotels and this one isn’t the best. Staff are absolutely lovely. Work needs to be done on the actual spa itself. We found it to be quite dirty, tiles coming off the seats, just looked like it needed a good clean. Treatments were good, expensive but a nice treat. No luxuries in the room - Make sure you take all your own shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc as these are not in the rooms. No flip flops either.
A real shame they are building right in the view of the thermal pool. Really spoils the view.
Not a terrible experience at all. Just not the best place we have been.

Pleasant The spa facilities were good and nice to have a pool on the premises. I had a massage which was good and one of the staff who showed me round was friendly and helpful. The room had cobwebs, so clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The showers in the changing rooms were rusty and dirty. The spa was good but really busy and the outdoor relaxation area near the pool was inaccessible. View from the spa has unfortunately been ruined by all the new build houses across the road.
