Overall experience good. However the sauna and hydro pool was very overcrowded. The hotel is looking tired and needs updating. Restaurant food was lovely, again needs updating, the tables were uneven and sticky.

We came for just one night. Excellent value for dinner bed and breakfast. The pools and steam rooms were perfect to relax in. Everything was spotless and the food was delicious. One of my favourite places to stay.

Lovely facilities! You have to book but we did this on arrival and it was no bother... there was plenty of availability. We used all the thermal suite and dinner was delicious. We each went for 3 courses and it went above our expectations. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Left a lot to be desired. Cleanliness is not good enough this is based on in the room and in the spa area too. However great concept overall which is why it gets as high as 3/5. The staff are mostly friendly and polite which is nice.

We booked this weekend as a birthday treat as the spa and treatments appealed to us both.
The room was basic but had everything you needed. The shower was awful so we used the spa showers as they had decent pressure on them. The room looked clean but wasn't clean clean on closer inspection. I wouldn't normally be so picky but we spent a lot of money and expected to get what we paid for. If you are a weekend guest make sure you book in for the spa and thermal suites as they don't tell you this at reception and you will miss out just go directly to the spa and book. The staff are all really nice friendly and helpful. Take a £1 coin for the lookers and some sliders. Don't pre book evening meal not worth the money the bar food looked better and was better priced we were again expecting better for the money paid. If you have booked a treatment make sure they give you a free robe to use other wise will cost you £5 none refunded. Should be aiting in your room had to go and ask for one. The infinity pool over looks a carprk and now new build houses 🤷 not the best view I must say. Won't stay again still had a lovely weekend just expected more for what we paid. If you have a treatment ask for Sam she is amazing!

Food and drink very good, cleanliness could be improved and a few tweaks around the place would make it like it was on our last visit, room was ok pillows and bed very hard, didn’t sleep much, and if you stay on a Sunday night just remember they have deliveries early Monday so cottage rooms near the pub are noisy

Had a fabulous stay with a friend spa was excellent had a great time the staff were great all very helpful and polite would deffo go back! Would b a lot nicer if all the new builds weren’t around it it spoils the view abit but u can’t have everything!x

We booked a spa stay, on our booking it said we had access to the spa from 2pm when we check in and 11am at check out. On arrival we were told we could only have 1 hour in the spa as they were busy. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to a relaxing day.

We stayed on the winter deal and upgraded to a executive room. Lovely spacious room, nice comfy bed. Beautiful hotel, staff really friendly. Had evening meal and breakfast both really nice. After seeing reviews about spa times we emailed ahead to check and booked a slot. Although a little frustrating to be limited to a hour in pool and hour in Thermal suite, for how busy the hotel was i can see why they do this. I would rather have a relaxing two hours then a packed chaotic spa. Very relaxing stay, will be back.
Only negative would be the view of the carpark/houses when in the hydro pool but still very relaxing and lovely once the sun set.

Fantastic time at the spa very clean and friendly staff, lovely evening meal with many choices & great selection for breakfast.

Hotel and staff were good but booking a Spa break is a joke. We were only allowed an hour pre bookable slot to thermal suite as they were busy.Not exactly what i would call a spa break! Had we been warned this in advanced we would have chosen a spa with full access to enjoy our family break for my 60th birthday celebration. Really disappointed

Breakfast was good. Rooms are a good size. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Amenities were not great. I had to pay adult prices for my two teenagers and they could only access the pool. Which is quite small and got overcrowded quickly Food very expensive Incredibly hot rooms, very difficult to cool down. Ridiculously hot showers.

Ok hotel, but it needs a really good clean, main stairs and walkway carpets are filthy everywhere and rooms aren’t much better.
I’ve stayed a few times for work and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a room that’s actually been hoovered. Take slippers if you’re staying here.

We stayed as a guest for a wedding and we was out in the city yard rooms which was very lovely and clean. Not bad on price for the weekend either. Breakfast was good lots to choose from staff very young but friendly

I stayed here a few years ago for a family event and the hotel has improved considerably since then. We had a family celebration here and the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was also of a high quality. We took time to enjoy the spa, which was equally good.

Rooms ok, the estate is interesting. Breakfast service in the "pub" is not big enough to serve for large parties, so be prepared for a long long wait.
