Perfect location for our short weekend stay
The room was large which made the TV feel a little on the small size, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom felt a little on the small size however, but the walk in shower was big enough for two. Booking.com has some out of date information in regard to the rooms having both a bath and a shower. This is no longer the case for any of the rooms at the hotel - All rooms now only have a shower!
The room did not have a bath as expected from my booking placed with booking.com which stated the room had bath & shower facilities. Could not figure out how to get the air conditioning working, and no information on how to alter the temperature in the room.

Don't use booking.com to book this hotel go direct so your room dose not get canceled.
The staff was very friendly and one girl on reception in particular went above and beyond her duties to accommodate our requirements, the breakfast was nice and had a good selection, the bar area was more contemporary and not for me but was comfortable. the town was only a short walk from the Hotel.
When I booked on booking.com I was given a confirmation code and chose to pay at the property, when I arrived my booking had been canceled by Booking.com. if it wasn't for the receptionist going above and beyond we would have had to sleep in the car as there were no rooms left.

We only stayed one night but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. Excellent!

Location fab, staff excellent in all areas of the hotel attentive and real people!
Heating in room was broken so really cold however staff jumped to action arranging plug in heaters until maintenance can fix

The hotel was excellent and good value for money.
Breakfast was excellent. Huge variety, full English breakfast and continental available. Room was very comfortable. Car parking was excellent.

Pleasant
It’s clean and comfortable staying there. Parking space could be limited but we a space. They gave us some refund after knowing the bad experience we had when we were checking out.
The room service was pretty bad. We had to wait more than an hour for them to deliver a hair dryer after being told 15mins for the first call and 5 mins for the second. They took their time despite the feedback on the second call. Next morning we realize that the sink was blocked and it was a mess in the toilet’s basin. When giving our feedback, the stuff do not take it seriously even when giving the refund their attitude wasn’t genuine and just asked if I have my card with a annoyed instead of remorse expression.

Great hotel, enjoyed the visit. Only gave four circles instead of five because there was no mini fridge to put drinks in. Oh yeah and it would be nice if we could have a bath as well as a shower. But apart from that, we really couldn't fault it.
