It was a great immaculate twin room for myself n my daughter. It had towels ironing board hairdryer n a large fan. A good size TV too. Each n every member of staff were brilliant n very friendly. I'm a coeliac n the staff went above n beyond to cater my needs. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm in the area. Excellent!

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. I felt disappointed that the hotel does not provide slippers to the guests. I spent £ 10 to buy it from the shop in the city centre. Also, parking in the hotel costs me £5. It is better to include the parking fee in the hotel room rate, which make the guest feel more comfortable!

Noisy cleaning staff in the mornings even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door, or as they call it the enjoying the moment . In other words be quiet. they slammed the doors so hard my window shook.

restaurant could do with being heated.

too many drunks from a wedding party swearing their heads off.

The rooms are nice and the service is good too. It would be nicer if the parking were included in the room fee, and the breakfast is a little pricey. All in all though, not a bad place to stay, but they could really do with changing the entrance. When we turned up, a clown had parked in the covered area in front of the entrance, despite double yellow lines. We waited behind another car who was getting just as peeved as us by the Mercedes driving clown, and this car stopped access to the underground parking. The clown came out, slowly got into his car, went nowhere despite seeing two cars waiting, then got out and went back into the hotel. Someone from the hotel came out to try and resolve the situation, and got us to weave our way through the silly maze of kerbing to get access to the outside parking area, and as we did this, the clown made a reappearance. Anyway, all this silly kerbing should be removed to allow direct access to both parking areas.

I visited the Holiday Inn in Bolton to deliver a two day training course in their excellent training rooms.
All the staff (the events staff Hannah and Sophie are brilliant) are super helpful and friendly and the layout of the training room, with delegate stationary, water etc is spot on.
Lunch was great with lots of good quality food on offer and all delegates were happy.
The only negative was the temperature of the training room as the day moved on as there was no air conditioning in the room we were in.
I also stayed in the hotel and again, the rooms and service in the restaurant is excellent.
The hotel is easy to access via major roads and car parking is underneath the hotel and validated with screens in main reception.

Convenient, with friendly Staff. The option of a Continental breakfast would be appreciated. Convenient for Bolton Town centre, and for my son to collect me. The window of Room 129 was partly blocked by a unit outside, making the room dark. The room was not cleaned on the 7th. March, the mugs not washed, and the towels changed. The shower drain was sluggish, but was cleaned, following my complaint.
