Refurb room, breakfast and staff
The noise until early hours from the function rooms, I totally expect it if we are informed when booking. We did have a phone call to say they'd over booked and we'd get 25% discount that never happened but we was in a refurb room which was very nice... could do with the windows been cleaned though by a window cleaner and not another job added onto the housekeeper list... also it should be noted that when going to the restaurant for breakfast to get dressed first, far to many in there pjs...

One of the better budget hotels I’ve visited. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The updated rooms are well-decorated with USB plug sockets by the beds. Great breakfast selection and good food in the restaurant. The only slight niggle is that the shower is a little weak and the A/C didn’t work in my room so it got a bit hot. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent base for IMUK
The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and offered support in preparation for the IMUK race. Staff made the stay relaxing and offered informed advice to queries.
Only minor issue was the room air con. It was effectively cooler when off.

just wanted to give a message and say that tonight has been amazing. We attended a wedding today at your hotel/Chapel and the staff were so fantastic especially Nigel!! all staff were absolutely non stop, working so hard and it really doesn't go unnoticed. As someone who works in customer service myself I found that the service from your hotel, especially the staff that ran the bar for the wedding were 100% fantastic. 100% a credit to your team!! Will 10000% be back again! Thankyou for such a lovely night (that still hasn't ended yet!!

We enjoyed our stay.
Room was very specious. Enough to accommodate two adults and 3 children. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast great. The staff was great and making sure that we were comfortable during breakfast. The location was great to our liking as we could easily travel to Blackpool pleasure beach, to greater Manchester, to liverpool etc and that environment was quite quiet and having a secured car park is a bonus.
The only down side was that our room was not serviced for two days (that was on Thursday and Friday) even though i left the noticed on the door that we were out and that it could be serviced. On returning, on Thursday, the cleaner removed the noticed from the door and placed it back inside and did nothing. I had to call the reception for fresh towels. On Friday, the cleaner came in and left fresh towels alone and did nothing else. That was disappointing really. However on Saturday morning, the cleaner who came in did a great job and even cleaned the the bathroom floor which was something that had not been done since we moved in.

I enjoyed my stay & would consider it in the future compared to the Travelodge and Premier Inn.
I recieved a bottle of water upon arrival in my room which was a nice gesture. The bed was very comfy, the cleaners on my floor Lindsley and sarah (apologies if i spelt it wrong) were very welcoming and friendly and done a great job.
Room could be bit more bigger, window didn't open, Ac wasn't working although I was given a fan by sarah. Tv remote would stop working sometimes and tv would be more better if bigger. Breakfast needed more variety and if you could pls cater for those who eat Halal dietary. So if the pork & ham could be kept completely separate away from the other food aswell as the utensils used to pick them up. Sometimes people use the same to pick up all the food. If you could mention whether you have halal or not and assure us that the food isn't also cooked in the same oil as maybe pork or ham. I got up to get a hot chocolate and the staff took my plate away which had my croissant that I was going to have then there were none left.
