Decent hotel........ clean rooms, excellent food (I was particularly impressed with the quality of breakfast) with the most friendly / go the extra mile staff.
However, i was woken up both nights due to noise outside the hotel (people shouting and police sirens) - i appreciate this is not the hotels fault.
The underground carpark is awful. Pillars and parked vans everywhere.... i managed to reverse into a space (which was tricky) and then couldn't open my car door to exit my vehicle as spaces so tight. I moved to an outside carpark..... which didn't seem too secure but i had no other option.

I found the place upmarket and I felt safe there.
The decor of the place was upmarket and modern. The bedroom was very clean and the bathroom was glamorous with a large shower and dove hand-wash, shampoo and body wash. The bar was expensive but well equipped. The reception was helpful via room service.
The pillows were abit too soft so the dapped abit and were uncomfortable. There was no temperature control in the room so I couldn't make it warmer or cooler.

Lovely room very clean.
Beds,pillows and duvets very comfy had a great night's sleep .
Breakfast was very impressive, lots of variety and staff couldn't be anymore attentive.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Holiday inn Bolton. We were warmly greeted by Alpesh. He was so friendly and attentive during our stay. Would like to thank him for making us smile. Nothing was too much trouble.

Brilliant friendly staff, nice clean new room, quiet and great breakfast. The housekeeping team looked after me throughout. I stayed the week and it worked really well. Car Parking on site is a bit tight but acceptable.
They were having refurbishment work while I was there but they manage it really well so the work does not start until after 9 and finished before 4 pm and you would not know they were there.

I stayed in room 409. Platinum Elite member in the IHG reward scheme. Had an early check-in and check-out as per benefits.
The hotel has benefitted from a much needed upgrade and the rooms are now really nice and modern, beds are exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was modern but the shower wasn't very powerful.
In room WiFi was reliable and fast.
The hotel location is 5 minutes walk into the town centre and 10 minutes from the train/bus interchange.
Breakfast was ok, but could be further improved with offering smoked salmon, poached eggs and a gluten and wheat free selection like other Holiday Inn's. Coffee weak (has to use the Lyons coffee bags from the buffet)
I'd stay again if breakfast was better.

Had a lovely stay this weekend.Staff were very friendly.Only bad side was lumpy pillows but still had a decent sleep.Gutted the swimming pool was closed as I booked it for this reason.Still give me more time to visit friends.

We were greeted by great staff late night about 10.30 & gave us a very comfortable family room to stay. Following morning we enjoyed a great delicious English breakfast. Very friendly staff. Thanks to Huzefa & friendly staff in the restaurant & hotel. Made our holiday a great experience.
