Really nice place, super bed but should have an option for baked beans with English breakfast.

Just had a magnificent Christmas dinner: generous portions, thoroughly well cooked (but not dry) meat, tasty and crispy vegetables with just the right amount of light seasoning, delicious gravy, airy and light crunchy roast potatoes, appropriate trimmings and all served on a very warm plate; quite perfect really. The Christmas pudding was just like home made. It scores as one of the best ever Christmas dinners and definitely compliments to the chef and the cheerfully polite servers.

Only visited for coffee and tea in the conservatory, but very impressed on such a short visit with the friendly helpful staff and the very pleasant surroundings in the spa cafe.

I was there for a boxing event, the food was nice, the staff were polite and friendly. Drinks are on the dearer side but that's to be expected in a place like that. Overall there's nothing I could fault the place for. 5 stars

We stayed just for 1 night b&b. I booked a privilege room which was quite nice but I hate to think what your average room is like if this is a luxury refurbished option. The breakfast was really poor quality. The staff were friendly though. This hotel used to a the luxury option locally and the place you went for a treat. Sadly not any more, it has got the potential to be so much better.

Found the staff quite uninviting, seems quite we'll maintained though, which is a shame because the unapproachable staff let it down.

Spent a day here attending a business meeting and then on to an evening meal. The ladies and gentleman that looked after us with drinks and food throughout were a credit to the hotel, particularly Amy.

Broke down on the M65 at 6am. Managed to get my car into the Dunkenhalgh hotel, the two male members of staff on reception were absolutely brilliant until I left at 10am. I wasn't a hotel guest but they made sure I wasn't stood outside in the cold and allowed access to the hotel facilities.

I asked a night before if they did birthday cakes which they said no but said would organise something on desert just to wish my husband a happy birthday which they didn't do 😥. The room was very spacious and big but in the toilet there was no soap holder. Also I couldn't increase the temperature of the water as it was luke warm. The door to the room was dirty. Staff were friendly though they disappointed me on the birthday thing

Firstly to note is parking requires payment (thankfully not this time).
Upon checking in we were told Spa and sauna was closed apparently due to a leak?! But it has been shut for months, which was disappointing and not good enough!
ALOT of the areas of the hotel require decoration, the rooms were nice but the beds weren't very comfortable. No biscuits were left with the minimal coffee / tea trays and again minimal bath / shower items in bathroom.
In the bar in there were issues with charging drinks to the room as although it had been done at reception, it hadn't been done correctly on system??
At Breakfast the staff were friendly and food was nice but minimal.
All in all our stay was ok but definitely had better and paid less.
