The hotel is in a good location just off the motorway. We didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms, but the public areas were lovely and well presented. The staff were professional. The food was ok. Nothing to rave about, but it was a large event with over 200 people so it would be difficult to keep everything hot.

Very accommodating hotel. Beds comfortable. Probably the best place around Accrington, if you absolutely have to go there.

Everything was excellent apart from the intermittent hot water. I'm not sure if this was just a slow boiler or not but a phone call to the reception solved it every time.

Nice hotel and and typical English country house. The food is good and the waiters full of attention. However, the courtyard rooms are a bit old and... cold.

Attended for Xmas party as part of work group, staff were attentive and happy. Food was OK, drinks are quite expensive we bought a package deal and had 10 bottles of beer in a bucket on the table which didn't keep them cold. Nice dance floor. Will be looking at somewhere else next year, but would go back again in the future.

I stay in A LOT of hotels for work but have stayed here for business and pleasure. This is one of the best. Clean rooms and easy parking. They think of the little things. Complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste, ironing board and iron in the room. Free wifi. Lots of hotels don't have these things, but it's the little things that make the big difference. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful building but pretty dated inside, could benefit from a makeover which would make this a fantastic destination

Lovely hotel but extortionate drink costs. Clld was ok but nothing special. Bar staff inexperienced so had to explain to barman how to make a G&T and it took forever

hotel is looking a bit tired in places now, doesn't seem to have changed much in the 14 years that I've been coming here for work.
