Had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a great atmosphere. A special thanks to Courtney, who was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay. Her customer service really stood out and made the experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others.

i had a wonderful time at dunkenhalgh the staff there are absolutely amazing, they was so polite especially courtney serving us with a big smile on her face. She accomodated us so well i couldnt of asked for a better experience here!

Stayed overnight with my wife for personal family reasons, because of its location. My last stay in a Mercure Chain hotel (Warsaw, 2018, reviewed here) had been a nightmare. This was a completely different experience. Very attentive and friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere (unfortunately our time didn't allow us to enjoy all of the leisure amenities). The restaurant is decent but with rather limited options. Breakfast was excellent.

Me and my friend stayed at Dunkenhalgh everything was amazing from check in to check out. Spa,food , service and facilities. Staff was very polite and professional. A big thanks to Sam at the main desk. Who shared Dunkenhalgh history and showed us two historic rooms and helped with our luggage.

Absolutely lovely stay, Mark was amazing at showing us the history of the building which meant a lot to understand where we stayed. Also want to mention Samuel who was an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable and can’t thank the team enough, every encounter was a lovely experience. I stayed with my sisters and mum for the weekend. The staff are a credit to this place. Especially Courtney, who checked us in the. Served us during our meal. I cant compliment her enough, some people are born to work with people and she is one of them. Friendly, polite and I don’t think we saw her without a smile.

Lovely location, nice room and fantastic experience at the spa. Spa staff were fantastic and massage was one of the best. Let down by some staff attitudes and delays in restaurant. Not prepared for football match even though it was advertised as on in the bar. One senior member of staff funny about guests sorting extra television out themselves as staff just left us to do so and couldn’t get it working. Staff attitude seemed to be a problem especially with that senior member of staff who to be honest was very rude.

I use this hotel regularly and there’s always a friendly welcome from the team. Sam was on the desk tonight and effortlessly added an extra night to my booking due to last minute changes in my schedule and found a room I could keep without moving.

Rooms were nice and spa facilities were good. Unfortunately the lift wasn't working when we arrived but other than that we had a lovely stay. Staff were great. Special mentions for Aziz and Lenny at breakfast and Courtney and Carla at dinner. All very friendly and made us feel so welcome.
