The hotel was a base for a concert at the King George's Hall which overall was a fantastic experience.

Pleasant hotel, impressive looks outside, a little shabby on inside due a little TLC but I believe the hotel up for sale? Couldn't work out how they rated the rooms as my son's was like a state room with two huge windows and ours like a cell with one very small window unreachably high so dark and stuffy however, after complaining we were without fuss immediately upgraded to a lovely room so full marks. I found the food pretty basic in choice and just ok, can't say it was expensive though. Service throughout totally excellent, the staff make this hotel and can't have been nicer or more helpful. Special mention the the chap running the breakfast shift , food choice, quality and service in this area above av

Me and my husband got married at the Dunkenhalgh in April 2017 and honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It is a beautiful place and all our guests commented on how nice it was. The staff were fantastic both on the day and leading up to the wedding. They made sure everything ran smoothly and could not do enough to help us. The food was gorgeous too. Rooms are all nicely decorated and of a good size and the pool/spa area is very nice. We will definitely go back and stay at this hotel in future.
