I was staying for two nights for a friend's wedding and everything went incredible smoothly given just how many weddings were taking place that weekend (4 I think!!). Staff were professional, welcoming and helpful both on reception, in the restaurants and bars and in the spa/gym area.
The main concerns, however, were to do with the hotel building itself. It felt very tired with regard to decor (carpets are worn, walls need painting) and could do with a bit of TLC. The room (executive) was ridiculously hot (to the point of discomfort on our first night) with no air conditioning or fan. The minute you walk into the executive wing of the hotel the heat hits you so think this should be sorted as a matter of priority given a premium is paid to have one of these rooms.
We also found the bar and food costs rather over inflated, but the quality was pretty good and the location made it worthwhile.

We were attending a friends wedding & I have to say the day overall was excellent, the grounds are well maintained, the food very good & the staff could not have been more attentive. We upgraded our room to an "Executive" room, which was tucked away in a wing as far from reception as possible. The room was a little tired and the furniture quite dated. The following morning we used the spa, which was very good.

We came for my sisters 40th Birthday. We was really impressed, great value for money. The Staff was really helpful and friendly. The spa was amazing. The 3 course meal we had was fantastic. I will most definetly returning in the future. Iam thinking of booking again for just me and the husband next time, a nice little romantic night away.

I HAD BOOKED AN EXECUTIVE ROOM BUT JUST FELT LIKE A STANDARD ROOM, VERY CRAMPED. NO TABLES TO PUT LUGGAGE BUT HAD LEAVE EVERYTHING ON THE FLOOR. BASICALLY NOTHING SPECIAL.

My wife and I enjoyed a Spa break for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Overall it was a nice experience with the spa area and pool etc. Being the most memorable. We extend our massages which were excellent. Restaurant food was poor (staff were lovely) served a ribeye steak that was pure gristle and could not be cut or chewed. The staff apologised and offered alternative but we were meeting family and had to leave hungry. To be fair, complimentary sandwiches were provided when we came back to the hotel later in the evening.

The hotel seemed a little tired and shabby.
Upon arrival the room smelt fusty - it was quite unpleasant. I informed reception. An assistant turned up with air freshener, but it had little effect.
The toilet cistern handle was ill fitting and the service hatch under the sink is hanging off.
There is mould around the bath at the top of the wall above the tiles.
I thought the drinks at the bar were most expensive considering the general state of the hotel.
The breakfast however was quite good.
The staff were very friendly.

We needed a place to relax after some hectic travel, and this was it! Beautiful location, the building itself is impressive and classical, the room was lovely and spacious, the bed was comfortable, all the room facilities were first class. The spa was excellent, with different sauna experiences, and warm water pool in a comfortably warm space, every service you could imagine. The food and the bar were excellent, the staff was well trained, friendly and helpful. Altogether, a well run establishment.

Food and service were very good. Plenty of space in the very clean spa facilities. The room itself was unimpressive for 'prestige', being rather small and witha worn carpet and furniture.

Despite the hotel being very busy, we had an enjoyable overnight stay. Food was good. Only downside was people eating breakfast in the restaurant in their pyjamas
