Nice hotel, beautiful and the pool is great. Staff (most of them) very friendly. I had a 2 night stay with treatments and dinner included. I enjoyed 3 course dinners, great portions and generally ok, some dishes better than others (not impressed with the chicken burger or the caesar salad!!) The treatments were the best part, I had a hot stone massage and soft feet treatments, both excellent very relaxing. No jacuzzi, sauna or steam room open during these times which is a shame.

Interesting hotel in transition with the old and the new living comfortably side by side. Room was excellent, large and with a very large well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was good, but truthfully, staff made the place. From reception, through to the bar and on to breakfast service, the staff were exceptional. Very good value for money.

Had a lovely spa day today. Treatments were fabulous , staff couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful, lunch was really good. Would definitely recommend, couldn't fault anything at all

I wanted to give this 5 stars as the hotel is lovely and the room is vast but there were a few things I couldn’t ignore.
In short, as long as you avoid the restaurant and aren’t hung up on the details you will enjoy your stay and this was up there with the better hotels on my trip. Lovely to look at, beautiful grounds and a very generous sized room.
Grand entrance and very welcoming staff put us in good spirits. Post covid the restaurant had very little atmosphere, maybe a bit of music that wasn’t from the bar next door and a few dividers or something to break up the sea of tables might have improved this. Tables and colours themselves were quite nice. The mains ordered for dinner felt very much like ready meals that had been heated and plated up. The pizza was especially disappointing as it was dominoes prices but Asda quality. Despite this I took a chance on the dessert and was actually pleasantly surprised. Shame the effort wasn’t throughout.
The room is massive and nicely decorated. There’s refurbishment going on in parts of the hotel, not sure if my room had it done yet or was expecting it as it was generally nice but the bathroom was a tad dated. Happy with both though, only issues I have with the room are the terrible TV and slight maintenance issues but given the fact the hotel has probably been somewhat empty over the summer these are to be expected. TV needs binning though good lord it was awful. The fact there was a smart tv button on the remote was laughable.
Unfortunately didn’t have time for the pool and gym so can’t comment on them
I would gladly stay here again but would stick to a drink and dessert in the bar.

What an amazing place to stay. The room is huge, the bed is like a king size XL!!! Facilities here are incredible too, nice grounds to walk around in.
Obviously during the time of covid 19 it has been a challenge for the hotel and its staff but they have put everything in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from check in to dining.... Hand sanitation stations all over the hotel.
The breakfast was amazing and the staff member who served me was excellent.

Just spent a girlie weekend here for my friend's 50th! Absolutely fantastic time was had by all! Laughed from start to finish! Definitely booking here again!

Friendly staff , hand sanitizers everywhere and one way markings in place. Nice preferred quieter swim early in the morning. Limited evening meal menu but breakfast okay. Lovely refurbed big room.

We had a brilliant time here. The staff were lovely. Everything was so clean .The meals were very nice and the bedroom was lovely. Would definitely come here again and recommend it to other people 100% .Thankyou to all the staff.

Strange staying in a hotel post Covid. The staff work hard to keep social distancing rules. Food in the rooms - mostly got the orders right. Found someone else's half empty juice bottle down the side of the bed - not great at the best of times and really not great currently ☹

Our first room had no WiFi signal and the bathroom was not quite clean. The second room was better although the WiFi was still spotty and kept disconnecting. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Luckily the pool was open and following COVID safety. Overall would have been 5 stars if the WiFi was better.

Lovely staff. Big impact due to Covid/refurbishment at present and doing their best under the circumstances (so adjust your expectations accordingly). Been many times before Covid and enjoyed the full spa treatments, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy rooms, etc plus great dining, amazing breakfast.
By comparison there was just the swimming pool and food served to the room. The pool was still warming up and was out of use on the day we arrived but we managed a quick swim the next morning. We ate out in the evening. The breakfast was closer to food served on a plane (nothing like the previous breakfast experience) but they are clearly doing the best they can under the circumstances. Great to see them adapting and trying to get things up and running. Not so sure about the redecorating, for example painting over the wood finish lockers without sanding down left them sticking and new paint coming alway showing the old wood finish, the bathroom door in the room was stiff to open due to extra layer of paint. Shame the refurb may actually reduce the quality of finish due to trying to create a more modern look with a lick of paint.
Now charging £10/24hrs for parking although that has been suspended short term, apparently due to camera capture issues. Seems a shame to separate out the parking charge for the stay.
I think the prices are lower than they used to be but not certain as we typically added on spa treatments and evening meal.
Wishing them all the best, we hope to go back but will perhaps will wait until things are up and running a little more.

Going through a revamp which we weren't aware of. There was nowhere to get any kind of food or drink as all bars are closed being done up. Our room had new carpet, curtains and mattress but the taps were very very loose in bathroom and the loo did the flush, seemed strange as rest of room was finished.

チェックインはフロントがカバーでプロテクトされている以外は特に通常時とは変わりません。
ただ、レストランやバーなどは閉まっているので、食事関係は困難。
チェックイン時に出張許可証の提出が必要なので、書類関係は事前の準備が必要です。
ルームサービスは種類も少なく、扉の前の床に置かれている状態なのでいまいち。
朝食も同様で種類も少なく、調理される物もないので（ヨーグルトやチョコなど）残念。
ルームキーピングもないので自分で対応する必要あり。
非常時なのでしょうがないですが、通常時より不便。
部屋は広く、シャワーもお湯が出ます。
ネット環境はいまいち速度が遅い状態でした。
