This place is wicked! I love the look of the hotel itself being an old castle Manor House. The executive room that me and my girlfriend stayed in was top notch, massive spacious room, a smart tv, big comfy bed we even had a table and 2 arm chairs ๐Ÿ˜‚
The bathroom was lovey, nice big bath, powerful shower unit (my favourite part)
The rest of the hotels facilities were great I went to the gym, found my girlfriend in the sauna and then we hit the pool and had a great time! The location of the place itself was amazing too we could see the Yorkshire dales from where we were it was literally a 10 mins drive.
Overall I had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Yorkshire area ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

Room very comfortable. Nice comfy large bed. Due to cover thr room wasn't serviced. We had to ask every morning for another toilet roll. Why more could not be put in the room at the beginning of our stay I can't explain. Apart from that it was a good stay

We have been here a few times now. Once for an overnight stay and we have had 2 buyagift spa days.
Overnight stay with breakfast- lovely modern, clean room. Unfortunately we had an issue with the wc constantly running but the lovely lady who was on reception managed to move us to another room. She was really helpful and even tried to fix the issue herself. Breakfast was really good.
Spa days - both were fantastic, the new Thermosuit was lovely and the gym is well above standard for a hotel gym! The treatments were amazing and so were the staff in the spa. We had a massage and a facial which left us feeling really relaxed and pampered.
Will definitely be returning ๐Ÿ˜

Bueatiful hotel, stunning grounds. Has an amazing leisure centre however I was not able to get a spa treatment. The elevator was dingy and there was st?ins on my bathroom ceiling. But a great place for a weekend getaway.

The Check in, room, bar, food and Spa were all great. Lauren the receptionist went above and beyond her role. Lovely girl, always smiling and so helpful, Nothing was too much bother. I would also like to mention Alissa in the restaurant who was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely busy over the weekend and there was a shortage of staff however it was clear that the staff that was there worked their socks off to make everyoneโ€™s stay as pleasant as possible.

It's a nice please and staff are friendly, but it's clearly understaffed at the moment. It took over 2 hours from our check in time to get out room ready. Food is pricey but delicious. The spa looked nice but also very busy so we didn't bother visiting. The grounds have potential but in need of a tidy up.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Me and the girls had the spa with treatment, dinner in the hotel restaurant and bed and breakfast, we could not fault one single thing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were lovely very clean and everything is fresh I assume they have had a refurbishment. The food was outstanding, the spa amazing! The staff were lovely, very friendly, very helpful they couldn't do enough for us. Especially to the dinner staff and the lovely spa ladies. I highly recommend this hotel and spa and we will most certainly be returning. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we will be seeing you again soon.

Lovely hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious. The food at dinner was very well cooked and tastes wonderful. Staff were polite and helpful. The spa has a lovely selection of steam rooms and sauna, plus a swimming pool and cafe. I had massage which was wonderful in a tranquil setting. I went for a two night spa break with dinner and breakfast. The only downside is that it's very close to the motorway but it's well shielded and the noise is not too intrusive.

A great stay. Rooms were clean and tidy and food was excellent. Use of the pool and thermal suite was easy enough even with restrictions. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a full massage which was fabulous and eased the pains of the last 18 months. Our room was a courtyard room which was very warm. If you are going in summer take a fan. All told we had a great stay. In the words of Arnie.. I'll be back

Booked a Privilege Double Room. What a joke. The room we were initially assigned to had nothing privileged about it: no mini fridge, no slippers, no robes, no coffee machine. The bathroom was manky with hair in the bath. We received a letter on arrival explaining there would be no robes or slippers due to covid restrictions and cross contamination yet when we challenged the room we were put in we were moved to another, very similar in size to a Premier Inn room, which came with slippers and robes. So covid doesn't matter if you pay extra. The fridge in the second room was faulty so when packaged fruit was left in for the day on our return it was stinking. When we checked in we asked if breakfast had a vegetarian option. We were assured it did. We were then told on arrival at breakfast that the vegetarian option was beans, eggs and hash browns. A vegetarian sausage was overheard to be on the menu if ordered. It was actually bubble and squeeze in sausage shape. Standards have greatly reduced at the Dunkenhalgh since our last visit. Won't go again.

Visited the gym on a guest pass with a friend. Great equipment, not overcrowded, lovely venue (after you find your way through the rabbit warren of corridors!). Enjoyed it and will be back

Attended friend's wedding here. The whole day was perfect. The waiters were great as it is table service only still. The waitress looking after our table did an amazing job of keeping us watered.:)
We booked a premier room, which was spacious and clean, although about 6 miles away from the breakfast restaurant. :)
