The hotel itself was great. Apart from the odd cracks in the tiles in the bathroom making it look a bit grotty which you wouldnt expect from an executive suite (think thats what it was called my partner booked it and it was for my birthday/valentines day in february) the bed was too hard for me but thats my personal taste i think i like to sink into my bed and not everybody does my partner didnt mind but he could be comfy on the floor. Also the tv was massive but only had regular channels which was disappointing meant we had to watch an awful movie to not sit in silence. But the hotel was so fancy outside and my partner approved of the shower facility he likes it very hot and they provided. One thing id complain about though is the lack of food late at night. I got really hungry and thirsty in the night and had to order a takeaway. They should at least have vending machines for these situations. But oh my gosh the breakfast was wonderful. After having a shower and eating a lovely buffet breakfast i really felt in holiday mode. But then we tried the 'spa' couldnt swim in the pool as there was a class on couldnt use the saunas as im sensitive to steam rooms getting hot and struggling to breathe just isnt relaxing for me. So me and my partner had to just chill in the bubbly water area its not really a hot tub as it was a tag on to the pool which wasnt particularly warm im glad i didnt go specifically for the spa im a big fan of spas and so far if i was to count this as a spa it would be the worst ive been to

The Hotel, our room and facilities were above expectation, apart from the crowd of some functions in the hotel.

Staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
The food at the restaurant was tasteless and greasy which has brought the rating down.
The towel I used at the spa once wet, smelled awful, and the room, although tidy was stained.

Beautiful building, needs a little TLC in some areas.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Dinner was lovely, breakfast was good but the most expensive hotel breakfast I've ever had. I expected to pay £12-15 for an adult at mos, this was £20. They were going to charge me for the children too, but as my kids had a bowl of cereal and a hash brown, I checked my booking which said accommodation and breakfast free for 2 kids staying with adult. Staff were very nice, apologietic, and took the kids off when I explained.
Swimming pool lovely and warm, the kids loved it. Changing rooms have an interesting layout, but overall good facilities.
Bedroom was clean and well presented.
Thank you for having us.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The food was lovely! The atmosphere was so relaxing. The bar area was so inviting and the cost of drinks was actually reasonable. This is a huge thing because it makes you relax. It's nice to get away, spend a bit of money but not feel bank rupt afterwards! I'd definitely stay again.
We didn't use the spa/services. The only little thing I'd have had a minor issue with, was the bed were two beds pushed together and kept getting in the gap in the middle, so me and my partner were either sharing a single bed or completely seperate. Also, the beds were quite hard. That is just a small issue, unsure if it's every room or just ours unfortunately! Not a huge problem just a bit restless. Overall though it was a lovely night, really friendly staff, the rooms and presentation was welcoming so it's a small issue to everything that's great.
