Now October is upon us, and the Elvis Festival has come and gone, it's almost time for the Splashup Festival to return to Porthcawl.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the organisers and volunteers of the Monmouth Festival.
We are extremely fortunate to live in such a beautiful area and last year, Chepstow qualified to be accepted into the Walkers are Welcome national scheme. The publicity for this will strengthen Chepstow’s reputation as an attractive, hospitable, friendly destination and of course, benefit the local economy.
We have a fantastic opportunity open to all craft makers, artists and activity providers to work with one of our biggest Holiday Parks in Carmarthenshire to showcase yourselves and your attraction to their guests.
Even though the word didn’t officially exist before 2009, the staycation is getting more popular. partly for economic reasons, partly because it is less stressful.
Thousands of visitors attending to the Urdd Eisteddfod in Pembrokeshire next week will get to chance to see an amazing hidden architectural wonder at the site.
