Lichfield Arts is delighted to welcome back the ever popular Climax Blues Band for a Saturday evening of amazing blues sounds. At Lichfield Guildhall on Saturday 8th December at 8pm, the room will be ringing to some of the best blues around.
We can expect a Sunday evening with a difference when internationally renowned author and historian Dr Ruth Richardson appears at Lichfield Guildhall on Sunday 2nd December at 8pm.
We can expect a storming Saturday evening of top class blues sounds when The Producers make their debut at Lichfield Guildhall on Saturday 24th November at 8pm. Originally formed back in 1990 the band went on to become one of the most popular blues outfits in the country, winning the Blues Band of the Year award four times. Their new album, London Blues, the first for 11 years features Paul Lamb, Andy Fairweather Lowe and Ben Waters. It is already receiving rave reviews.
We can expect a fantastic run-up to the big day at Lichfield Guildhall. A range of events kicks off with State of Undress Christmas Show on Friday 14th December at 8.30pm. This dynamic band is full of energy and joie de vivre, playing a melodic blend of roots, rock and country with a celtic flavour. Expect plenty of Christmas favourites delivered in their own, distinctive way as well as their own compositions and a few musical surprises. What better way could there be of getting in the Christmas mood?

The fantastic Boy With Tape On His Face is back with even more tape in his new show at the Lichfield Garrick.
The Roving Crows win Best Folk Act at the Exposure Music Awards 2012 It’s been a fantastic year for Celtic-fusion folk-rockers The Roving Crows. They have been making waves up and down the country on the festival circuit and have picked up a bucketful of awards along the way. Earlier in the year they won 2 Irish Music Awards (Top Celtic Rock Band and Top Fiddle Player for Caitlin Barrett), and they have just been named Best Folk Act at the Exposure Music Awards. The band will be making a welcome and triumphant return to Lichfield Guildhall on Saturday 3rd November at the Lichfield Arts Roots & Folk Festival (RAFF)
