Enjoyed walking around here. There are plenty of seats and a lot of walks to do. Lots of ducks etc to watch and there is children's playground too. A statue to Jerome K Jerome is at the entrance too which pleased my husband.

I remember the "arbo" from childhood when it was the poor man's blackpool and my parents took me to see the lights. Now I'm much older it's great to go back and enjoy the other side of the arboretum. Apart from the main area, the extention has a super playground and skateboard area for the young and not so young. But my favourite has to be the old.municipal golf course. Unrecognisable now as it's been converted to a beautiful walk way. We use it all the time and it's expansive, quiet and great for exercising the dogs (and us). The only downside is the opening hours. I guess due to council buffet cuts it closes much earlier now than it used to. We're forced to park outside the gates and walk in, for fear of the car park being locked. Other than that it's brill. Kept beautifully clean and free of litter. You always feel safe walking the extension. Lovely at all times of the year

What a wonderful place to while away a few hours with the kids. Lovely open spaces for them to run wild and a very wide avenue / walk way with plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes without worrying anyone walking around.
Newly installed cafe and information centre is a boon and the Arboretum presentation on the whole is fantastic!

Spent a great day with my grandson here, great play and splash area for him and a great time spent on the swan pedalos.
The walks are fantastic and we had some great games of football.
I would recommend for a good day out.

This place has a lot in. Half turn for skaters. Kiddy play area with a splash pool. Lake with paddle boats. Open air gym. Wild fields. feildsTennis courts. Picnic benches. A concrete path around. A cafe. Open grass area for anything.
Because of all this, it is usually busy.
Parking near the kids play area can be an issue.
But it's a great park to go to.

Since its revival the Arboretum has never been so beautiful. Easily accessible for buggies, wheelchairs and able bodied this park now is well used and loved. It is great to see so many types of people use the facility.
The visitors centre recently built is also considerate of its surroundings and the cafe could be a real goldmine.

Spent lovely days at the play park and on the boats over the summer. It was clean despite the number of people and had lots of different facilities for all ages. Only issue was the water kept going off in the splash area and it was awkward to turn on again!

The Arboretum has lovely walks, including all the way out via the Extention & across sapling-planted meadows to the canal & the Sutton Road. There are trees of all sorts, 2 lakes with swan-shaped pedollas, a newly opened cafe, a children's play area & routes suitable for cycling. It also connects to the Beacon Way Footpath. Theres are lots of different entrances and most are still open after dusk (so no worries about getting 'locked in'!

I've been coming here for many years and I've always loved the place. It's Very peacefully and calming around the lake watching the ducks, geese, swans some times herons. There's a little cafe but prices seem a bit high. There's lots of fields and different actives to do like tennis, table tennis bowling, paddle boats like swans. Also a water park and parks and different events going on all the time. Like fun fairs, live bands lots. If you want a day out its worth taking a Picnic. There's are buses and a train station located in Walsall town. If all this sound interesting look on walsall Arboretum website.

Visited to use the pedlos and feed the ducks.

Brilliant few hours with the kids took my 4, 2 year old and hubby all had life jackets and felt safe.

Café on site to buy snacks but also the duck food.

Park is good and splash area too. Toilets need updating pretty sure they haven't changed since I was a child!

Park is looked after clean and tidy and the teens I've seen around there have been respectful and mature.

We love the aboretum! Throughout the summers months we have regularly visited with my little one year old who adores the swans, the ducks and water park.
The visitors centre is great, serves a good cuppa and a nice slice of cake for a decent price!
We also loved the little 'train ride' from one side of the aboretum to the other
We really want to try out the swan pedalos but we always visit when they are closed, can't wait to try them!!

The children absolutely loved the free water splash play area.
It gets very busy and you need to bring a picnic blanket, but you can sit around the splashpad, so you are near the playing children.

We visited the arboretum on Friday of the bank holiday weekend! The weather was glorious and there were lots going on throughout the park. The children's water play was busy, but lovely to see it being used. The park looked fun and the grass was ideal for picnics or Games. There are tennis courts and table tennis tables if that is what you like to do. A lovely little park.

It's a lot nicer than it was . Shame they don't have the illuminations no more as it was great for the children to go and see the lights. But its still a nice place to go for a free day out in Walsall.

It was a lovely place to visit with the family. With free parking, water section fun for all the family and the paddle boats. The cost for me and three children was £10 for half and hour.
