Great place to visit for a meal. From the outside you wouldn't think that the food was so good. Beer on tap and a wide selection of curries and starters on offer but head out the back to the BBQ part and you've struck gold. Get in line to order your food sometimes you might go away thinking that you haven't actually ordered as the guys might walk away half way through an order but come back after 10 - 15 minutes and ask for it again. Pay for your food and take it to your table awsome!
Try a corriander naan or one of the other breads also the talipia fish is nice.So many different things to try. a night out food and a drink comes to about £20 and you'll be stuffed.

Went with some relatives who go fairly often during last trip to the UK.
Was a bit dubious when looking at it form the outside, but was pleasantly surpised as soon as I entered the pub.
Yes its pared back but its clean and tidy and the grill area is worth seeing just to see the indoor BBQ.
The food was cooked well and whilst its not michelin star quality, the value for money and friendly nature of the service more than made up for it.
I woudn't hesitate revisiting.

this must be the ultimate away-supporters football pub. I would strongly recommended to any fans visiting West Bromwich Albion.
At the front it's a traditional midlands pub with small atmospheric rooms, dark wood panelling and real ale.
Behind is an Indian restaurant with a full menu and then a large indoor barbecue area and outside benches for both food and drink if the weather is fine.
The indoor barbecue offered great value for money indian kebabs, tikka etc on the match day
Both the pub and home "baggies" fans were very welcoming and we would certainly go there again if we attend a game at west Brom.

Visited the Vine tonight, as always excellent food, & a good busy pub, for a change i had a claypot chicken, & very happy with my choice, full of flavour, massalla fries, simple but so addictive, a must place to eat, very good food, & very reasonable on prices

I visited The Vine at West Brom recently and had the most amazing chicken biryani I've ever had. I've eaten here many times before and always had top class food which comes really quickly which is really helpful over a lunchtime. This time though it was extra special because my meal was just incredible. Compliments to the chef. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again very soon.

Visited here recently with friends who had never been before. I have visited the Vine on and off for some years mostly at lunchtimes but not in the last 3 years.
When we arrived the bplace was already quite busy with folks occupying all of the rooms. After a drink and a brief period deciding what to have we decided to go for the BBQ menu we went up and ordered what we wanted and were told to come back in 10 minutes which we did and we were served our food. We had quite a selection of the BBQ food trying more or less everything on that menu between the four of us. All I can say is it was one of the first and still is one of the best Indian BBQ establishments around. The food was faultless served with salad on each plate of meat and with mint Sauce available too... Will be returning here more often, it was a real treat.

Agree with other reviews food is nice but it seems like to different restaurant. Order curries and sides at the bar where they serve drinks and get an order number and then if you want bbq go to the grill. No menu only the board for the bbq our food seemed to be quick but others had to wait as you just need to wait around and make sure you get your food. Might go again if we are in the area but unfortunately doubt we would plan a trip, been to better and cheaper.

If you like currys and Tandoori this is the place for you. Ive been numerous times and had a few different currys and they are all nice especially the goat curry. The bbq area which boasts chicken. Fish, ribs, wings and shish kebabs are all cooked in front of you. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We regularly visit here for both eat in and take away and we love it!
Don't expect the greatest customer service at the BBQ even that is great in its own quirky way.
Ignore any negative reviews and teat yourself, it's 1000% better than your average high street take away!

Without doubt one of the best places for Indian food in the Black Country, and if you are a Baggies fan definitely the best place for a drink before and after the game.

Went here with some friends. You'd need to know it was there as it's up a side street. It's a bit like a tardis - seems tiny from the outside, but just keeps going on and on and on inside. Lots of choice of where to sit; nice clear menu boards on the walls. The BBQ is easy - you order the meat and breads you want from two busy chaps behind the counter - they have an assortment of skewers cooking away on the BBQ grill - and go back 10 mins later to get your food. They don't write your order down, but incredibly, they don't need to - they remember every order with apparent ease. You pay when you pick up your food.
If you want something other than meat or breads - we had the Sai Paneer and Aloo Saag which were amazing - you order and pay at the bar and they give you a number, which is shouted out when its ready - about 5 minutes!
All in all a fantastic experience - good tasty food in a pleasant, clean environment and cheap to boot. I'll be back next time i'm visiting !!

invited here with some friends and i must say its like an aladins cave with tiny 2 x lounge rooms followed by a long back room for dining followed by a bigger back room for dining with indoor BBQ followed by an out door cover/sheltered area for dining and sociallizing with an outdoor sheltered area for a bit of sun.... the BBq food was excellent and speedy and as for the curries. they are the fastest meals served in the west (bromwich). and well presented . they are defineately 8/10 +......
worth a visit with out a doubt
