Visited this cinema last weekend and a great cinema it is and with the added bonus of a licenced bar. We were in screen 6 and it was lovely, the seating very comfy and the sound and screen I could not fault. I would definitely recommend this cinema to anyone. I will definitely be visiting again

There are a selection of eateries right on the doorstep too.

Great new cinema that's clean, nicely presented and great prices. Very professional, friendly and approachable staff. Seats very comfortable with little table to put items on plus some wine glass holders and a wine bottle holder under the arm rests. Seats are raised to a good level so if there are people in the seats in front of you your view is not restricted by their heads. Also with the height of the seats you are more level with the screen rather than having to look up. Good spaces for people with disabilities and steps to higher seats are quite shallow and well lit.

Foyer is clean and good spaces for waiting and queuing. Tickets and refreshments purchased at the same time. There is also a ticket machine if you don't wish to queue.

Toilets were clean and numerous. Good idea to have escalator to go up to screens. Lift and stairs also available.

Can choose your own seats.

There is good parking outside or across the road.

All in all a fantastic cinema experience with comfort very much in mind.

I've been here a few times recently to watch the conjuring 2, Pets Life and last week to see Finding Dory. All visits have been fab, the seats are all tiered so you can always see the screen and you don't get anyone's head's blocking the view ;) The free refills on the large pop and popcorn are brilliant especially when taking the kids. Lovely and modern and the screen stretches from wall to wall unlike some other cinemas where the screen is smaller. You get to choose your seats online or at the till when purchasing tickets. Also during watching a horror film the lights where dimmed darker than during the kids film we viewed, which is a great touch :)

Nice clean foyer and theatres but its simply too small and badly planned out. The ticket queue was snaking out of the door which hinders your progress onto the theatre, the online ticket collection machine, which there was only one of, was also the same with the queue out of the door. The theatres themselves were very nice, roomy chairs, nice decor, great sound systems and not too hot or cold. One issue was that we arrived in time for the start of the film but were not allowed in as the cleaning was still in progress. So we all had to hang around outside the theatre door in the narrow corridor. So if you're going to visit, arrive in plenty of time even if you've prepurchased tickets online.

I was there with my kids to see the legend of tarzan .first time there i am not realy impressed. The screen is too close to the seats . Next time i will get as back as possible. What i found unacceptable is how dirty the corridors ware and how much understaffed the plece was.I will go there again and i hope things will be better. It's a great addition to walsall and we must support places like this.

The Light Cinema is most definitely a place to visit. The actual cinema is very well maintained, prices are good and the staff are fab.
My daughter had an accident tonight on the escalator (lost her balance) and all the staff that came to us were very professional. A big thank you to the young man (don't know his name) who came to my daughters rescue and pulled her from the escalator.
Can't fault the service, experience or support & care that the staff showed us. The Manager was lovely and gave my daughter & her fiancé some complimentary nachos & a drink. We filled in an Accident Form before we left. Keep up the good work !!
Will be returning soon

Gorgeous new cinema, it's very modern, very clean & exceptionally comfortable in comparison to other cinemas; I know that this is probably all due to how new this is but I would definitely recommend a visit here rather than to other local cinemas. One of the only issues is that you have to pay for parking when visiting here, great cinema though!

Great addition to Walsall town center. needed this for years as the local Showcase is now very dated and hard to get to if you have limited transport . spacious, very helpfull friendly staff, very clean and nicely designed. Great sound and seats arranged into tiers so everyone will have a good view. Plenty of nearby places to eat and drink if you don't want to inside the cinema. pleasent surprize you could buy alcohol and take it with you.very very impressed. Customers out first for once.

As an avid cinema goer, I was expected the same old average cinema. The layout and decor was absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and different to anything I have seen before. The £5 ticket price before noon was another added surprise. Seats were extremely comfortable and roomy, good sound and huge screen, all excellent. The only negatives I found was that there was no loo roll in the ladies and no handwash either but the toilets were clean. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Delightful experience - much better than the biggger soulless multiplexes. Lovely customer service from Morag - how clever to only have to queue once to get tickets and drinks. Choose your own seats - free refill before film ends of softdrinks.
Roomy comforatable seats, enough rake to see over the heads of the people below, plenty of space, and a reasonable price (£22.70 incl wine/giant coke)
But the BEST thing is there is soap, hot water, working driers and toilet paper in the ladies. All at the same time - first time for a long time I've been to a big screen where that happens.
Also plenty of places for a meal before or drink afterwards.

Once the cinema opened i took my nephew to see a movie. We all loved it. The staff were great. The place was wonderful. We pre-booked out seats which was great. But I can see a problem with this. When you go to your seats its up to you to tell others to move and if they don't believe you it could cause problems if they will not move. But other than that it was a good time for all.

This place is easily accessible to Walsall town Center and a variety of restaurants all in walking distance

The cinema is clean very very very comfy loads of leg space for lanky people like myself my little kids loved it was like home from home with small tables to use for their popcorn and drinks etc they also loved not being folded up into the chairs.

The staff are welcoming and amazingly friendly and helpful at all times

The cinema is licensed to alcohol bit of a bonus never known that before, it also offers £5 shows before midday and offers more than just films xx

Nice little cinema, the screens are good and the seating comfortable (two of the three main things required for a trip to 'the pictures') unfortunately the food lets it down overpriced and not that good, the nacho sauce is just not right!

In an ultra competitive market surely someone should be prepared to cut their margins to about500% and provide good value and tasty food?

We decided to go to this cinema after seeing a "£5 ticket" offer through social media. We pre-booked online for the Jungle Book, and thought because it was pre-selected seats, all would be great when we arrived.
The foyer to the cinema is quite small, but as it wasn't a particularly busy period of the day, we didn't notice it cramped. I imagine it can feel quite claustrophobic if it a very busy film or a premier showing. Took a while to be served at the concessions stand, and then found there were many items not available. We were told which screen to go to and made our way in. The auditorium was quite grand, with tiered seating and a huge screen. we had a slight problem with our seats, as the pre-booked ones were occupied by a few children. As there were plenty of seats, we sat elsewhere, but found this caused a slight problem later on with other people who had also pre-booked. Maybe a steward is needed to ensure all people know what seats they are in, if pre-booked.
The picture was excellent, really clear and crisp. Surround sound was excellent, ensuring you felt submerged within the film itself. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, despite not going to the cinema since this time, I would go there again and would definitely recommend it to others

Recently visited with my partner to watch the second installment of the Captain America franchise on a Saturday night. I had heard good things about the light cinema, and can say that I was definitely not disappointed.

CINEMA...
First impressions were very good. The lobby looked nice and modern, and immaculately clean. There is a pub just inside, can't remember the name, but once we had enquired about our tickets we sat in here. We were informed that you could take beers etc, into the cinema with you which was a bonus. The guy working the front was helpful with sorting our tickets as they were sent as an e-ticket.

SCREEN...
The screen itself was probably the best i've been to in a good while. A fair bit smaller than others, less seating, and felt alot more ambient and chilled. The seats...excellent. Biggest issue for me on a cinema outing is usually the seating as I suffer with lower back issues, but happy to say that I sat for atleast 2 hours without any back ache (this is unheard of for me). Also, the seats have wine glass and beer holders in between them, great touch. Apart from a pair of idiots making porn noises during quiet spells, especially as there were children in there, couldn't fault anything.

PRICES...
By far the cheapest cinema around, and by far the best. Value for money is excellent! Beers wise, about the same as you would pay in a decent pub anywhere in the area so no issues there. The sweets and snacks are expensive, as all cinemas are, but unless you have lived in a cave your whole life you will already know this.

Overall, I had a great night out and will definitely be returning.
