Love the seating. Food offers ok compared to other cinemas. Would only attend when there's a discount or offer on. Staff mostly friendly but a bit dismissive if there is a mix up.

Second home and the staff are brilliant. Fair prices, there's plenty of entertainment around the cinema, for before or after. The staff are always up for a good chat too and are happy to give honest opinions about movies.

Fantastic cinema that shows it cares for the community around it - as ive experiences in other Light Cinemas!

Well layed out and seats that don't leave you struggling when someone tall sits Infront - great for someone short like me!

Good screens and friendly enthused staff who make the cinema experience that so much better.

I always have a positive experience when I visit here. With plenty of parking directly outside the cinema, it is easy enough to travel to.

Staff are always very friendly and the place is kept very clean.

There is a good variety of snacks and drinks available, and all at a reasonable price. Screens are all good sizes, and with comfortable seating.

Close to town centre. Nice staff members. Toilets need sorting out more often. Some don't work, no toilet paper and 2 hand dryers so there is a queue to dry your hands. Not really the venues fault but I think staff should pop in during the movie to check visitors. People on their phones, Someone videocalling their mother on full brightness and volume, other random stuff.

We have been to Tbe Light several times. The staff are great and very friendly and cheerful. Tickets aren't cheap and neither is the food and drink. You are allowed to take your own in and this would make for a cheaper visit. There is a car park but you will need to pay for parking. The car park is operated by a private company who are hot on fines so make sure you add enough time to your ticket!

Upstairs there is a small seating area outside the actual cinemas. However, I would not advise sitting there as there is often a strong smell of urine from the toilets opposite! I would also advise using the toilets on the ground floor as these are abysmal!

There isn't another cinema locally, so no alterative to go elsewhere. Overall this is a decent cinema but watch out for all of the hidden extras if you want to keep costs down in this current economic climate.

I absolutely love the Light Cinema in Walsall. There are good variety of films and other screened events ( including National Theatre Live!) Their pizzas are fresh (made in front of you!) they have a great drinks selection including some really good wines. The staff are super-helpful and friendly. They also do something called an Infinity Card, where you pay an amount each month and go to see as many films as you like.

After the many horrors of the Vue cinema in Birmingham the Light Cinema is a breath of fresh air.

Great food options; friendly, efficient staff; comfy seats, great screens and thunderous sound.

All in all a modern and improved cinema experience that is worth the drive from Sutton Coldfield.

They also have a good selection of beers and the bar area itself is worth the visit.

Can't see us going to any other cinema now.

As the Blues Brothers once said...

I have seen the light!

P.S. would not let my 18 year old in tonight as no driving licence which is annoying. Guess only doing their job but he is huge. Take ID.

Always a perfect cinema experience . Customer service great seats comfy . Spotlessly clean ..easy booking procedure ..the only downside is paying for parking but I suppose that's the norm these days ..as you can't get anything for free anymore!
