Attentive staff, great food and lovely atmosphere.
My family had such a lovely afternoon here and would definitely return. I have allergies and they were catered for. My in-laws had never eaten out at Christmas before so wanted to make sure they enjoyed and they definitely did! They loved the food and atmosphere, so that was a huge positive (they also want to visit to try the carvery when they are next around).
The staff were very professional and attentive - we asked for a few extra things over dinner and received them in minutes.
Overall it was a great afternoon enjoyed by all of the family. I would definitely recommend.

We were first booked into lodge 6 and had to complain about a 'smell' they soon moved us to a different lodge. Lodge was clean warm and comfortable.
The down side came when we had breakfast; 2 people, 1 cereal, 1 egg on toast, 1 round of toast, 2 hot drinks - cost £20! Not happy! Because we had stayed in their accommodation the set price for breakfast is £10 per head no matter how much you eat! Great if you want a big breakfast but as we didn't it felt as we were being penalised for staying in their accommodation, as based on their price list, for what we had would have cost half what we paid
