Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ We’re the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

Over 28 years we’ve learnt a lot about what it’s like to be a young person with cancer and the unique emotional, physical and practical needs that come with a diagnosis.

We have a fantastic team of staff and volunteers who are inspired daily by the amazing young people who are treated on our units and via our outreach services. Young people help us decide the best way to offer cancer services and are at the heart of everything we do.

We create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

We know that having cancer at a young age comes with its own particular set of challenges. Our services put the needs of young people first and allow them to face those challenges together.

In the last financial year (2016-17), we were proud to raise £16million to help young people facing cancer in the UK.

  • donations and community fundraising - £9.3million
  • corporate fundraising - £2.7million
  • income from trading activities*- £3.8million
  • interest** - £62,309
  • income from charitable activities £119,540

*this includes raffles and lotteries, merchandise or tickets for events like our Royal Albert Hall shows
**interest earned on cash deposits

Your support means we can provide specialist care so young people aren’t alone and can face cancer together. Help us provide the best cancer care in the world to young people.
