Glassification is a ‘One of A Kind’ business making unique glass splashbacks from their workshop in Ilminster in Somerset. They describe their work like this: ‘Each Glassification splashback is crafted individually by hand. Designs are created from many layers of glass, vitreous enamels, glass powders and copper and silver foils, all fired in specialist kilns to over 800 degrees c. No two panels are ever the same. Just like our customers.’

This dedication to ensuring the client gets exactly what they want is their desire to create a beautiful, entirely individual piece of glass, in your size, your colours, your design and your size.  No two pieces are ever the same as they are entirely hand crafted.

They have a network of glass artists across the country to call on for your particular design and Owner and glass artist Nikki can take you through the process from your first call to the day your piece is fitted.

Nikki also offers a multitude of glass workshops at Glassification in glass fusing, slumping, splash backs and fused glass jewellery .

If you click here you can see all upcoming dates and booking information.  They have room for kids parties and adults parties too!  If you fancy a very different sort of Hen Party, Nikki will book a 2hr workshop for you.

The workshops are very diverse to suit your interests and skills, you can book on a beginner session or for the more advanced there are longer, more in depth courses with advanced techniques run by Liz Sparkes, an experienced glass artist.

No matter whether you are a complete beginner looking for a new craft, a current maker looking to learn a new technique or someone looking to expand your practice as a fused glass artist – they have something for you.
