Only got as far as the coffee and gift shop. Thought the entrance charge to the gardens a bit steep at £12.50

Good gardens, but as to the 'Contemporary art':
One exhibit was several racks of hundreds of bottles of water said to have been collected worldwide.
I offered to produce them a sample of mine but it was refused.
Their 'art' is not to my taste.
Why don't they get the old cider press up and running? We could bring our own apples and come away with our own vintage cider, for a price.
And what about the water turbine?

Is often billed as 'the poshest services off the M5' and is well worth the detour. It offers delightful gardens and excellent facilities to break up the tedium of the journey down to the West Country. Good range of meals and the Jekyll formal terrace is lovely. Worth the trip.

Lovely gardens which are constantly improving and cared for. The front Edwardian garden is the highlight. Godd cafe and shop. The house was the old fire station headquarters so it has taken a bit of a beating inside but I think this adds to the charm.

Beautiful gardens to walk around at your leisure. We did the Easter egg hunt which the grandchildren enjoyed but I wasn't that impressed with the prize. A tiny, barely a mouthful of chocolate, bunny. For £2 I thought it a little mean but mostly it was a lovely afternoon out.

A very disappointing visitor during the Easter egg hunt, you paid £2 per child to enter the hunt, my boys came back very disappointed all they got was a little chocolate bunnies
Wont be going there again
