The grounds are beautiful. The cafe quaint. Had a lovely stone baked pizza. The strawberry cake was delicious. The milkshakes however were a let down. I had a banana milkshake which was warm and somewhat tasteless. The rest of the trip was worthwhile though. A great place to visit.

Very pretty, lots to do and see. Even better if the sun shines. Functions held here, also workshops and children activities

Lovely place, large grounds. Quite busy in the holidays with school children. Formal gardens were pretty. Difficult to work out where the entrance was to pay.

Most interesting gardens, and good long walk with plenty of interest for all ages. Rather expensive, could do with more in the house. Good food, not cheap, but varied and well presented.

Beautiful gardens, and plenty of grounds to explore and enjoy plus good restaurant and café. Easy to spend a whole day here and special places to picnic if you don't want to spend money on food.

First visit and found Staff/ Volunteers helpful.

Video film in 3 different locations could have been labelled better. Telling stories associated with specific area of grounds Wasn't till on way out did we find Cinema then had to catch up on the FULL story.

Take note of Cafe hours STOPPING food at 3pm only if you walked FULL distance. Time is short

Great gardens, shame there was a wedding on but hey just meant we had to stay longer to get into the orangery, which was hardly a chore!

Мне очень понравился сад, в лучших английских традициях. Большая площадь где погулять и в конце регулярный сад на "сладкое " были в начале августа.

Really impressive job has been done on restoring these gardens to their original splendor. In particular, the design of the garden, the quality of the hard landscaping, and the variety of the planting are inspiring. Some lovely walks around the grounds to, both shorter and medium length. Splendid.
