Lovely cafe and food, peaceful place to walk and enjoy. Lots of interesting history too.<br>Parking is free and plentiful. Worth booking online, when we visited that gave a 10% discount.

Beautiful house and gardens. We've been twice and haven't discovered all of the gardens yet. The restaurant is lovely, the food is yummy. And we enjoyed the art installations in the house

Gardens beautiful, staff lovely.... shame about the house. Could make so much more of it. Art gallery is mainly some photography of one artist and a small installation piece with little explanation... box covers in need of dusting... shouldn't cost £12.50 presently, too expensive for what it offers

Very nice place to visit,lovely to walk around the grounds and view the ornate as well as the more open woodland walks, shame the large waterfall wasn't flowing but there was plenty of other photo opportunities.<br>Can't comment on the cafe because no matter where you go there all a rip off so we take our own food/drink !!
