Lovely gardens originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll with lake and orangery, tea room, plant shop and house with gift store. Lots to see, very helpful volunteers, beautifully quiet when I visited on a Saturday during the bank holiday. Recommended.

Excellent garden which allows you to blend a nice walk in a park with a formal garden. Child and dog friendly.

A very nicely laid out and well managed location for lunch or afternoon tea. It has a relatively small but varied lunch menu, prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is good. The Club sandwich is excellent. Friendly staff, and a relaxing venue all round. Not the easiest place to find but that's probably a bonus. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely landscaped gardens with a selection of restored garden buildings. The house is mainly unfurnished but has interesting rooms with restored architecture. There is a restaurant and small cafe serving a selection of high caliber meals on simple snacks. We had a 2 for 1 Gardener's World card that made entry worth while.

Good place to go and walk around grounds but not recommended for people who struggle to walk. Let the children run around. The stable restaurant is 1st class food with the staff so so polite

Beautiful gardens a little bit past there best I think because of the dry weather cafe was a bit expensive & a poor selection of cakes quite hard to find the house needed a bit more atmosphere
