I have been going to Wardale Williams for a number of years now and always have a great experience. From the first class eye test, which includes the latest eye scan to finding the perfect pair of glasses . A warm and friendly environment and such a great team of people . Highly recommend a visit to this long established Opticians if you want great service with a smile.

Really great experience all round when having an eye test and choosing frames. Kirsty was very helpful and patient with me as it took me ages to decide on the frames as there was such a good choice. I'm very happy with my varifocal lenses and really cool frames that I just love. Would defiantly recommend.

I'm not a patient here but a locum Optometrist. I've worked in many many practices all around London and Essex and Wardale Williams Sudbury is by far the best practice I've worked in. I can't think of any faults: from entering the store and being welcomed by lovely Lesely all the way to the attention and detail given by Amanda and Kirsty. They have the latest equipment as well as a beautiful large testing room with great natural lighting which allows smooth patient journeys allowing us to give the best patient care. I would recommend all my family and friends to visit this store for not only the clinical care but also the wide range of stylish frames and lenses they can offer.

Needed new glasses and had some issues with my eyes (watery, itchy, sometimes painful) so made an appointment. Suggested solution to my problems works and I am very pleased! New glasses were ready for collection in 3 weeks as promised. All the staff very helpful, professional and friendly. I think the option of free refill of glass cleaning solution is a really nice touch and I'm sure customers appreciate it. All in all, very pleased.

Well what a delightful surprise, the lady who dealt with me actually listened to what I wanted, didn't push me to buy, only recommend, and give a honest opinion to my choices....they even went out their way and ordered in some frames that I liked...
I couldn't recommend them highly enough for their customer service and attentiveness!
If you're after GOOD SERVICE use them, you won't be disappointed

You can’t beat a small independent optician. My glasses had lost a very small nut securing one of the arms. None of the mainstream opticians could help (nor seemed to want to)! But these guys went through all their spares boxes until they found the correct screw. Not only did they replace it but they tightened up the other side and then gave me a small screwdriver for future repairs. Talk about going above and beyond! Five star service. Thank you very much.

It was Mark the optician whose knowledge and experience led to the very early diagnosis of glaucoma that has undoubtedly saved my eyesight.
Special mention to Krystal whose brilliant advice on frames was really appreciated and who picked out the perfect pair of glasses for me.
And not forgetting Kirsty who contacted me as soon as they were ready and made sure they fitted perfectly.
Outstanding customer service and I look forward to my next appointment.

As a returning customer after many years, from my eye test Monday 6th December to new glasses fitting Monday 13th December, the total experience has been awesome. This was my first visit to Wardale Williams and I have to say it was a very good experience. The surroundings are clean, fresh & pleasantly decorated; the staff are polite, warm & friendly (a particular thank you to Amanda for her advice & attention to detail). Most importantly, my new glasses are perfect so no need to go anywhere else.
