I have been a customer now at Wardale Williams Sudbury for over 30yrs. I have now moved to another town but still go back to Sudbury for my eye tests and any new glasses I may need. I have found the service exceptional from the eye test to the help given in finding new frames. The modern equipment ensures that any problems are found before they become a problem. Thank you to all the staff for making my visits enjoyable and stress free. Special thank you to Amanda for her advice and patience when I am choosing a new frame.

After a bad experience with a local branch of a national chain (they got my prescription wrong TWICE) I thought I would try a local expert - the new prescription was spot-on and the glasses were no more expensive than the chain - I'm definitely going back when I need a new pair

From making the appointment to leaving, you feel valued, which is unusual these days! The examination was comprehensive using the latest technology. Choosing glasses was excellent with realistic and honest advice. All members of staff are friendly approachable and professional.

If you want to have great customer satisfaction, when going to the opticians Wardale Williams is the place to go in Sudbury. Wardale Williams are the most helpful opticians, my girls and I have been to. The whole team there are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great customer service all round. One of my girls is in a wheelchair, the equipment they needed to carry out the her eye test was upstairs. But this wasn't a problem to them, they just carried the equipment downstairs. They don't try to sale us glasses to make a quick profit, and they could of, as my youngest was trying so hard to get tinted glasses. But the lady saw right through her. Which save us over £100 on glasses that weren't needed.

Easy to make an appointment over the phone. Friendly at reception. I had standard eye test and Retinal-Image taken too. I took in my reading glasses and they had a clever machine that could measure the strength of the lens in a matter of seconds. Although I don't think I'm dyslexic, I do find that black text on white background is a strain on my eyes as the text appears as if a halo surrounds them and words can move about a little. I asked if coloured lens may help and I had Colorimetry test to see if coloured overlay would help with the problem. I found, after trying several different colours, that some colours did ease the problem and now use an coloured overlay on text books and also tape it to my computer screen.
