An award-winning Shropshire restaurant is celebrating its 10th anniversary by launching a charity appeal to raise at least £2,500 for a leading local charity.
The Inn at Grinshill, just outside Shrewsbury, is linking up with other county businesses for the initiative, which will boost Hope House Children’s Hospice.
Viki and Kevin Brazier, owners of the Inn at Grinshill, said that they and their team wanted to do something dynamic to mark this milestone.
“We have had 10 very enjoyable and successful years here at Grinshill and are looking forward to the next decade by launching this major charity appeal,” Viki said.
Each month the Inn at Grinshill will link up with ten local businesses who will give out tickets to their customers. At the end of each month a draw will take place when ten recipients will win a night’s accommodation and breakfast for two at The Inn at Grinshill.
“In total we will be giving away 100 nights’ stay - worth £12,000 - and every month each participating business will donate £25 to Hope House, therefore raising £2,500 for this very worthwhile charity.
“However, we very much hope that we will raise ten times this amount as there will also be a link on our website to give ticket holders a chance to donate, but this will be discretionary,” Viki added.
The Inn at Grinshill, which was recently awarded its second AA Rosette, will participate each month as the tenth business. Some of the first firms to join the fund raising scheme are Maynards Farm Bacon from Weston-under-Redcastle, marketing company thebestof Shrewsbury and Wysteria Lane in Shrewsbury.
Any Shropshire firms interested in taking part and helping to raise money for Oswestry-based Hope House Children’s Hospice should contact Viki Brazier on 01939 220410.
