An award-winning Shropshire caravan and motorhome dealership will mark St David’s Day by opening its popular holiday parks for 2019.
Salop Leisure, whose headquarters in Emstrey, Shrewsbury are at the gateway to Mid Wales, supply caravans to hundreds of holiday parks throughout Mid Wales and also own five-star parks in the region.
The company invests heavily each year in promoting tourism in Mid Wales to existing owners and prospective buyers of holiday homes, touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans.
Tony Bywater, the chairman of Salop Leisure, said: “St David’s Day is always an important date in our calendar and this year it falls on the same day our holiday parks will be opening for 2019.
"I have never seen our parks looking better. With the mild winter we’ve had, the daffodils are out and the parks look absolutely superb.
“I have never known such levels of excitement created by caravan owners desperate for March 1 to come, when they can start to enjoy their holiday homes again.
“The demand for new caravan holiday homes has also never been greater. I think people want the comfort of knowing they can go away for a break whenever they want to.
"This is the opportunity that caravans provide, so we are predicting a fantastic 2019 for our industry and we are all extremely excited about it.”
