Award winning caravan, motorhome and campervan dealership, Salop Leisure, is planning a special display for Shrewsbury Flower Show on August 12 and 13 to celebrate the company’s 50th birthday.

Both Salop Leisure and sister company Love Plants will be exhibiting at the popular show, which attracts visitors from across the UK. The display will include an eye-catching new sculpture, which will be unveiled at the show before later making its home at the entrance to Salop Leisure’s Emstrey headquarters.

The company will have a caravan holiday home, touring caravan and motorhome on its stand on Quarry Avenue near the Craft Tent on the show site, while Love Plants will have a major exhibit with a shop and showpiece garden in a prime location at the top of Gloucester Avenue, opposite the Members’ Tent.

“The flower show is a great opportunity to market our products and always generates quality leads that turn into sales,” said Salop Leisure’s chairman Tony Bywater, whose company has supported the annual event since it was formed in 1966 and is now one of the main sponsors. “The show has a tremendous following from Shropshire and Mid Wales people.

“We are proud to have been associated with the show throughout our 50-year history and we believe this year’s event is going to be one of the best for many years. We are planning a special floral display to celebrate our 50th birthday.”

The company sells tickets for the show at its headquarters and promotes the event to visitors at every opportunity.

Headliners at the show include The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment Musical Ride, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, The Christians, Biddulph Male Voice Choir, Of One Accord Choir and the Massed Bands – The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals and The Yorkshire Volunteers Band.
