Thousands of visitors are expected to attend this year’s West Midlands Caravan and Motorhome Show in Shrewsbury from April 24 to May 4, when 250 caravan holiday homes, lodges, touring caravans and motorhomes will be on display.

The UK’s largest dealership show, which offers free admission, is hosted by award-winning Salop Leisure who are putting families and first time buyers at the heart of their plans.

Entertainment will include a falconry display, climbing wall and face painting for children.

Visitors will get their first glimpse of the latest innovations in new holiday homes, touring caravans and motorhomes. Several new holiday home and lodge models will be unveiled, including the Brockenhurst and Aurora from Willerby Holiday Homes, the Carnaby Envoy and the Atlas Sherwood.

A team of experts will be on hand at the show to guide first time buyers through the complete process, which also includes helping to find the ideal park location for caravan holiday homes in the Heart of England, inland Mid Wales or the Mid Wales Coast.

Expert advice about towing touring caravans will also be available to ensure that customers are properly prepared before heading off on their holiday adventure.

Twenty top holiday home parks across Mid Wales and the Heart of England will be exhibiting at the show to help customers find their dream location and an extended accessory superstore will feature price reductions on many lines.

“This show is a great place to see the latest innovations in caravan holiday homes, touring caravans and motorhomes and there’s always lots going on to keep families entertained,” said Salop Leisure’s Joint Managing Director Mark Bebb.

“We are fortunate to work with leading caravan and motorhome manufacturers and the top caravan parks in Mid Wales and the Heart of England, which are among the best in Europe.”

Coffees and teas sold to visitors throughout the 10 days will help to raise money to pay for a holiday for Lloyd Burton, a Shrewsbury schoolboy who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

In addition to free parking and show admission, visitors will be able to visit Love Plants, a popular specialist plants centre alongside Salop Leisure’s headquarters and the popular Love Coffee restaurant on site. Free and tickets are available to download at www.caravanevent.co.uk.
