A fundraising event for two local churches, which will include a planting demonstration by Margaret Thrower, is being arranged at caravan dealership Salop Leisure’s Emstrey headquarters in Shrewsbury for Tuesday, July 26.
The event, which starts at 6pm, will also include talks by Aubrey Kirkham from Shrewsbury Flower Show and a question and answer session with Tim Robinson, manager of Salop Leisure’s specialist plants centre, Love Plants, which will be open for the evening.
Tickets cost £5 and include a cup of tea or coffee and slice of cake. All proceeds will go towards a new sound system for St Giles Church, Wenlock Road, Shrewsbury and the fabric fund at St Eata’s Church, Atcham.
