Swift Group previewed the new, innovative holiday units at the Great Yorkshire Holiday Home Show in Harrogate in September, but the national launch has been reserved for the NEC where the company will partner Shrewsbury-based Salop Leisure.

Following the show, Salop Leisure will become the first Swift Group dealership in the UK to have the S-Pod 4 and 6 Escape launch models in displayed at its Emstrey headquarters showroom from the end of November.

The S-Pod Escape models are perfect for short stay holidays or even as a luxury annexe. Swift Group describes them as “the ultimate ‘tiny homes’ getaway with flexible living and sleeping space”.

Due to a cleverly designed mezzanine, featuring a raised bunk area, the versatile S-Pod 6 is capable of comfortably sleeping six people. The S-Pod range is built to last, with a galvanised chassis, a coated steel pantile roof and bonded ‘sandwich’ exterior wall construction for greater strength.

The S-Pod 4 offers flexible living and modern sleeping space for up to four people. The versatile holiday unit features an exterior integrated deck area and large ceiling to floor windows, fusing the outdoor with the indoors and an inset 'Minuto' vanity basin with shelving and an LED illuminated vanity mirror.

Laura Plumridge, Salop Leisure’s marketing and retail sales associate director, said the company was delighted to be partnering Swift Group at the Holiday Park & Resort Innovation Show and was looking forward to the launch of the new S-Pod 4 and 6 Escape models.

“We are especially pleased that we will be the first dealership in the country to have the two new models on display in Shrewsbury in late November,” she added. “S-Pods are very popular with couples seeking a romantic break, particularly around Valetine’s Day.”

She also revealed that Salop Leisure’s Love2Stay touring park and glamping resort, located next to the company’s headquarters, will be replacing two wooden lodges with seven S-Pods from January next year.

S-Pods are already popular at the Love2Stay Mid Wales resort at Caersws, near Newtown, which is owned by the Bebb family.
