Nine new jobs are being created by a £400,000 specialist plant centre in Shrewsbury within the grounds of award winning caravan dealership Salop Leisure’s headquarters.

“It’s one of the most exciting horticultural projects that has been developed in Shrewsbury,” said Salop Leisure’s chairman Tony Bywater. “We are going to stock a fantastic selection of quality plants, including large specimens.
“This will be a specialist plant centre where customers can buy top quality plants and receive great advice from knowledgeable staff on a wide range of topics, from growing vegetables to providing exciting planting combinations.”
Experienced Staff
The centre is being developed in association with Derwen Garden Centre and Dingle Nurseries, well established businesses in Guilsfield, near Welshpool and all plants will be sourced and selected by their experienced staff.
Love Plants takes Salop Leisure’s investment in the company’s headquarters to £10 million over the past six-and-a-half years.
