This is the time of year when we all like to wish each other "Happy New Year" and when some of us try to take time to reflect on resolutions and how to keep them.
Unfortunately it also coincides with post Christmas flatness, miserable weather and, for some people, a greater or lesser degree of “feeling blue” - hardly the perfect background to find inspiration and the determination needed to stick to our good intentions.
This blog is inspired by one written by my truly inspirational tutor, Anna Jeoffroy Salmon, who has created a 2014 Essence and has generously shared the “ingredients” or mixture of individual Bach Flower essences with all her previous and current students.
Generally, when a client comes to see me to find help with their particular problem, I focus purely on the issue that is causing the trouble – in other words, everyone leaves with a personal, tailor made prescription of Flower essences which are perfect for them and the circumstances in which they find themselves.
However, the seven Essences that Anna has put together are perfect for all of us. Let me give you a few examples:
Beech – to allow us to see the good in everyone and every situation
Hornbeam – to help us to focus and achieve mental clarity – perfect to enable us to achieve whatever goals we have set ourselves for 2014
Mustard – the most wonderful “pick you up” for down days
Larch – the remedy for strength of purpose and to negate feelings of being overwhelmed, unable to succeed.
Anna's creation is a wonderful gift to yourself or those around you.
Please come and see me so that I can explain in greater depth and introduce you to the wealth of possibilities offered by the creations of the inestimable Dr Edward Bach.
