The wonderful destinations of Mid Wales and the Heart of England take centre stage at a major spring caravan and motorhome show coming to Shrewsbury later this month.
The West Midlands Caravan, Motorhome and Destinations Show 2018 is being held at Salop Leisure’s headquarters from April 28 to May 7. It’s the UK’s largest free caravan exhibition, showcasing the latest 2018 models from leading manufacturers.
In addition to being a one-stop-shop for customers seeking to buy a caravan holiday home, luxury lodge, touring caravan, motorhome or campervan, this year’s show will be promoting three distinct holiday destinations.
Show visitors will be encouraged to explore the Heart of England zone with falconry displays, a wildlife experience, food and wine, fishing and water zorbing.
Or they can immerse themselves in nature in the beautiful countryside of inland Mid Wales where they can enjoy rock climbing, slate art, canoeing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, campfire cookery, orienteering, den building and treasure hunts.
The third destination choice is the Mid Wales Coast where parents and grandparents can connect with their family at a giant sandpit and enjoy raft building, paddle boarding and a treasure hunt. The free activities are at weekends only during the show.
There will be more than 150 new and pre-owned touring caravans, in excess of 50 motorhomes and campervans and more than 50 holiday homes and luxury lodges on display together with a huge range of accessories and awnings.
The show will also see the launch of Salop Leisure’s bi-annual Caravan Holiday Home Buyer’s Guide. The publication is designed to guide prospective buyers through purchasing and siting a caravan holiday home or luxury lodge.
More than 150 of the finest caravan holiday home parks in the Heart of England, inland Mid Wales and the Mid Wales Coast are promoted in the guide.
